I have the control unit and cable if someone wants it to give it a go? Also have the pod with the buttons but would need a pod back with no buttons. Would also swap the steering wheel but depend on condition and stuff.

Just want to remove, have done a wire tuck and just think the EGR looks poop. Trying to make the engine look good, even got carbon-fibre cam covers from smithy at a big price to make it look better. So can I remove the switch/solinode???

Anybody help a little more?

OK, so then I just plug the vacume tube on the balance bar and can I disconnect the control switch (the thing that sits next to the AIV switch) or do need to leave that hooked up?

Can anybody tell me if and how to remove the EGR with the engine in? I am away to remove the plenum soon so if it can be done with it off can someone tell me how or even better a link for a "how to". Cheers in advance. Steve

Was goin to rub it down to bare metal use some kurust then fill the bit I trimmed away with chemical metal and clean the underside of the inner arch and cover with waxoil, already got all the stuff from work and friends but now I might aswell do it right as am spending a fortune on it now anyway. Will have to speak to a few guys at work and see if any of them have a generator and a portable welding plant then. Where is the best place to get the panels and any idea of cost?

Don't wont to put new sections in as I don't have a welding plant and the car can't move (engine in bits). Don't even have a power supply. Was wondering if anyone had done it with chemical metal or fiberglass ect and if so a guide on how they did it.

Anyone know the best way to fix a rusted inner wheel arch? It is only about 2" square on each side. :confused:

I live in the city centre but my zed is in the bridge of don. Got it in bits doin a bit of a build to it.

You will need to cut it off if it is the timing sprocket that the timing belt goes onto. I did this about two months ago, I stay in Aberdeen if you need some help bud.

What ecu is the cruise control? Any pics of the parts under the bonnet that can be removed.

Has anyone removed the cloth stuff under the bonnet? Think it's for keeping the heat away from the paint work but not sure, mine cloth is a mess and would like to remove it but don't want my paint to come off aswell :nono: . Cheers in advance
