  1. It's gone ! Must have been a dodgy one.
  2. He says "Free Shipping" but I bet he doesn't mean to the UK!
  3. May even prefer this to the Zed............ http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1965-Ford-Mustang-fastback_W0QQitemZ4651571449QQcategoryZ9844QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Fantastic
  4. Took it down to Powerflow this morning. The silencer couldn't be saved, so they removed it and replaced it with some straight though pipes (for 60 squid which I don't think was too bad!). Needless to say it's a bit louder now - but still not obscene. Must find a tunnel somewhere.
  5. Not many outlets for these in the UK judging by Google (UK), and only one 8" one on Ebay as well. Quite a few on sale in the US though: e.g. $130 for the BTA6100 active one: http://www.sourceoneaudio.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1603
  6. Ok - thanks mate. I haven't really looked yet (waiting for bonus time!) but wondered like you if there was one that fitted nicely with the targas in. I'll let you know if I come up with anything. Matt.
  7. Chewie - which bass tube did you get in the end? Is it active? I'm thinking of going along these lines, something removable, and not too earth shattering. Cheers. (bass purists need not say that a nice bespoke enclosure is the way to go!)
  8. I may well hold you to that Alan! Thanks for the advice. Matt.
  9. Thanks for all that guys - maybe not a lost cause after all ! Cheers.
  10. This is not good news guys - where am I going to get a centre section of a Superdrager from?
  11. Turns out it's my middle box on my Superdrager that is leaking. Must have hit a speed bump    because there is no corrosion around it. Reckon that can be welded? Looks like a hole, plus a split as well.
  12. Looks like cols_almera in H&A is having the same dilemma.
  13. It sounds like my exhaust is blowing around the middle of the front section of the exhaust, until I get under the car I can't really tell, but it''s got me all exited now about the possibilities. My car has done 89K miles without missing a beat, no blue smoke anywhere. Now the question - on 89K tubs, would you replace the front section with decats and risk the oil seals or get some second hand (hopefully good condition) replacement pipes with cats on? Hmm.
  14. I used to support the provinces of the UK, but not any more. My workplace is populated with scots and I'm fed up hearing about how much they dinnae wanna England to win anything. Most are supporting Trinidad and Tobago this time 'cos there are a few Scots from the 3rd division in the team. I did ask one of them one day why they would rather support ANYONE other than England, and he had to admit is was purely down to jealousy and a lack of success at pretty much all the major sports (curling and caber tossing apart).
  15. Hello - pretty sure I can get to this, so put me on the list. Matt.
  16. Only about a month away! The Zed will make the trip a second time, hopefully without the 750 euro speeding fine this time. Probably going down Thurs. Anyone else?
  17. As title, car in pieces, but there are no holes in the disc to screw into and press against the hub. Walloped it, bent my weightlifing bar, lubricated it with my tears of frustration. Any ideas anyone??? Ta.
  18. Had mine since Oct 2002 after years of waiting. As you can see from my sig it's a UK TT Manual. Everything I've done to it is in my sig as well (superdrager as well!), but I do have a 99 spec rear spoiler to put on when I can afford it, my spoiler is cracked as well. Mine's done 88000 miles now, the worst bit about it is probably the interior looks tired, but can't fault the engine or bodywork, which is good for a UK car. Great to have another Zedder in the area.
  19. Just outside - Broadclyst. What's your Zed like then? UK? TT? Much modded?
  20. 3 Zeds in Exeter! Woo hoo! Getting rather cosmopolitan down here. Definitely up for a meet soon.
  21. Countess Weir roundabout, I was filling up with Optimax, you were beeping at me. Sorry I didn't wave, I was filling up from the wrong side and was concentrating on keeping the nozzle in.
  22. Love it all, apart from I cannot see how fast I'm going between 60 and 120 mph as the steering wheel hides the top of the speedo. And yes I know the seat goes up and down, but doesn't help! Oh - and the extra wipe of the wipers when you turn them off - whyyyy?
  23. Hey mate - does that mean you've finished it then? If so, mini Exeter meet required!!!
  24. Mate - what area of Exeter do you live in? Trouble you seem to have - bit dodgy is it?
  25. Many cars, including a 800Bhp standard looking Zed, but always, always wanted one of these: Old school hand beaten 550 bhp Aston Martin Vantage: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/51868.htm
