  1. By looking at your list of mods, I'd say it's £11.5k well spent :D
  2. Now I can tell by the polish on that car that you must have been getting ready to go to Billing. Am I right ?
  3. LMFAO, so what your saying it we can make our own really cheap. :D

Here's wishing you a great Christmas and an even better start to the new year.
  5. Have you got a site which has info about this ?. I have no idea what it is or what it does and my hunger for knowledge is making my brain rumble.

PPS is where you wanna take it. It's up North, but apparently the work or pries can not be beaten. Iain was telling me that it's only £25 flight back to London via easy Jet. I know this is where I'll be taking my baby when I need a spray and kit fitting.
  7. Yeah Stuart sent me the vid last night. Sounds great. He also sent me the vid of the motor show. I tell ya , this kids got tallent when it comes to making videos. Stuart - probably getting hitchedd next year... do you do weddings ???;)
  8. Driving a 300zx is like making love to a beautiful woman.... or no sorry wrong subject. Modifying a 300zx can be compared to a beautiful woman. A natural beautiful woman does not need make up as a 300zx doe snot need a face lift. However some women feel naked without it and feel they look better with a little touch up, as some of our 300zx's also do. However some women wear far too much make up and make themselves look a little less beautiful than they actually are. Some 300zx's do the same. But at the end of the day not all of these beautiful women have a kind and caring heart and they can be mean and cruel. That's the difference between women and 300zx's. You'll always love the 300zx.
  9. Merry Chistmas Roy and everyone else. Here's hoping that 2003 brings more luck to people who haven't had much this year and continuing luck for those that have. Have a good one. Remember Drinking and Driving makes Jack a bad boy. Be careful out there.

Sorry to heart that Mark. I got a feeling I will be joining you soon though. I work for Abbey National Treasury and we are getting rid of loads of people soon. But if it happens I'll NOT be getting Rid of my Zed though. If I can't afford to run it, then it stay's on the drive without tax, MOT, insurance etc. I doubt you'll have a problem selling the car give John-boy a shout I know he'd cream himself if he knew it was up for sale again.
  11. So what you're saying is that you've had it two months ;) :D
  12. Phew for a minute there I thought you were going to say "sold the TT and bought a metro".

If you can get riase the back (i.e. jack the rear wheels up). You should be able to identify where the noise is coming from. Do you know the guy who fixed it ?. Because if it is the auto box then it's more work from him, most people will shy away from it.
  14. I have a manual and love it, but I know I would also love my car just as much if it were an auto. It's not the transmittion it's how you drive it that gives you the pleasure. I hope you enjoy your 300zx whether it's an auto or manual.
  15. You can;t really trust the stock oil pressure gauge or the boost gauge. Most people buy pods and have seperate gauges for more accurate readings. My Jap sepc's oil gauge (stock) is all over the shop but the car is sweet.
  16. Did you want them for your 300 ?. I don't know if I've ever seen skyline wheels. What are they 17 or 18's ?
  17. Front left looking at the engine is where the Hicas system is located. Sounds to me like the resovoir for the power steering solution (Castrol Dexron TQ). Open it up and wipe it on a piece of white kitchen roll. It should be red/brown in colour. if it's not then you got a problem.
  18. I would send off for a new license saying that you lost the old one. Hopefully when it comes back three points will be missing. You may be lucky and the police may not have forwarded your info onto the DVLA.
  19. Maybe the previous Japanses owner of your car had a dumb wife who kept filling it up with 4 star :D
  20. My Insurance company "Bell Direct" will insure you at the same price, however the only difference is you are not eligible for a courtesy car if you are involved in an accident.
  21. Probably closer to 100, but 98 is the best you are going to get in this country.
  22. I would phone the company to make sure they know it's an import. Also declare anything that is not standard on the car. If you miss any minor detail then your insurance is not valid. Which can not only loose you loads of money if you have an accident, it can also lead to a jail sentance. If you phone the insurance company and tell them all your details, make sure you get a reference for the call. All calls that insurance companies receive are recorded. They tell you that it's for training purposes but it is a legal requirement for all new policies. Also when you get your cover note/insurance certificate, it is worth checking that all details of your car including mods and Import details are on there.
  23. Hmmm, could have been their demo car then, because it was well kitted up. Sounded great too.
  24. Thanks mate I will check it out.
