I got a feeling you may have a problem with your heat matrix !!!!. Picture taken from James300's engine bay i.e. it's not fooking there LMAO !!! You may also notice the condition of James' injector connectors in the top right corner. They were fooked !!!!

This is one of the most common problems with the 300zx. What year is your car and what type of PTU do you have ? Have you tried starting it again from cold ?

So the car is misfiring when idle, but is ok when you go above say 2k revs ?. Is the problem more noticable from cold ?. I have a similar problme with mine at the momnent. At firs tI thought it was a fauly injector, then maybe a zorst valve burnt, but it could be a number of things. If the problem is not present when the car is cold then it maybe something very simple like an O2 sensor. If the problem is worth when cold, then welcome to my world. I'm getting the top noitch mecanics to check it out on Tuesday so I'll let you know what they find. Int he meantime if you can check the O2 sensors via aconZult that would elimitante a few more causes.

Hi Mate, As stuart says there are two main places to have resprays that are used to doing Z's, but I found that it was worth asking around on MSN from people that thave used either company. You can then make up your mind which one you would like to use. I've got my car booked in for Mid June :D :D. Looking forward to getting her all kitted up :D
