  1. Well, I wouldn't have though so but I have been told that's the way to do it ;). By a few sources. PR from SE and a friend who works for Porsche. But it seemed to do the trick ok either way.
  2. Well I'm happy because I only put Eagle F1's on my car :).
  3. Ok,, Here's what I mean
  4. Ok here's another. How about Shrek ????
  5. Anyone else think that Rooney looks like Leggsy ?
  6. Well I did 6 x 100mph - 0mph stops to bed them in nicely and even afte that they were fooking hot but no smoke. You sure you haven't got something else on your brakes that's burning up ?.

What you want is one of these babies :)
  8. Chris, As Smithy Says, GTS calipers are the same as our stock ones.
  9. Yeah Sorry mate I was winding you up. UK and Jap are the same ;) Hence the pokey stick post after ;)
  10. Did you try what Paul said ?. There' s probably jsut no oil in the heads. Give it a few minutes for the oil to flow around and then see if it gets any better.
  11. LMAO !!!!. We'll at least it looks a little better like that.
  12. I think the sound of a 300zx was dubbed over one of the cars in 2F2F but I can't remeber which. Sorry to say this but.... I think 300's are looked upon as classic cars by most people now along with the 280's 240's etc. This is the reaosn they don't show up in many car films :(
  13. Hey mate, that looks like a Jap import plenum are you sure it's gonna fit
  14. Nice one mate. I think it's becoming very common now for people to start builing engines themselves. With a fair few guys who have done it now and willing to share the knowledge, people like SE etc. will be going out of business in no time
  15. check the for sale section mate, I think there are some 18's going there.
  16. Would that be an asbestos hamster by any chance
  17. Most uprated turbo's will use the stock castings with the uprated turbine and compressor. So even if your tubs are uprated you probably won't be able to tell unless you take them off. The stock castings should have R48 stamped on them

If it's from the front then I would rule out propshaft bearings. Could be wheel bearings, wheel balance or tension rod bushes. Only at high speeds or when braking ? Can you drive through it ?. If yes then I would say wheel balancing.
  19. Well if you have the front bumper off, then you it's easier to do the following: Front Fog replacements, Headlight upgrade/removal Recirc valve replace or BOV install (if you are putting them in place of the recircs). Radiator expansion tank clean out. Can't think of anything else that you may want to do at the moment.

Goodyear Eagle F1's GSD3's IMHO the best tyre you can get for the money. These things are real sticky and will give you a good few miles of wear as well.
  21. I'm sure I have a n Ar$e out vid somewhere mate, I'll try and upload it tonight ;)
  22. Yep they sure are and that's comparing them to the big online tyre places. Compare to local garages that are stupidly cheap . Just ordered two rears ;)
