  1. IIRC The TT pump runs at 3 speeds and the NA at two, i tihnk thats the difference!
  2. Obviously a poor quality of car thats been sold, not always the dealerships fault i suppose but I did just wonder if it was from your "usual suspects" list LOL You have PM btw... or you will in a couple of minutes!
  3. Can we know where this car came from? Looks pretty bad i must admit, lots of work to do on it!
  4. I have two or three, but im not at home at the moment! WIll take pictures when im next back :)
  5. Aye well, there are 6 in total, 4 actualy bolts and two locating points (IIRC) it was going very dark when i took it apart and taped it up. Things to note on spoiler removal - the tailgate is effing heavy! THe gas struts are crap and if you take one off the other seems to be made of cheese and the tailgate drops on your head. I took the stupid weight of the tailgate to make life easier but it didnt help all that much!
  6. So it can be painted :) Along with the rest of the car. Bumpers and mirrors still to come of but cant drive it without those on really so got to wait till its in the garage for that.
  7. The bumpers a bit out on the colour match mate ;) That extra inch does make a huge difference! LOL Looking good actually, i do rather like those wheels you have there.
  8. Will look good once its done i hope! Just hate having a dented and bent wing on it at the moment! Haha cheers mate, it will look better once this job is done, then its leather and alacantra time! Nasty interior in it at the moment :( Some pictures I took this morning before i went to work. Not good at all but you can see what i achieved, including my temporary despoilering!
  9. To be honest, it just looks like the owner cant afford the correct tyre size ergo it looks absolutly shit! I just dont see the appeal!
  10. It will be finished this weekend lol. Let me know when your off up there mate, i'll see if I can join you. Its going to be mega cheap if im honest, this is me pulling in some favors, i've also lent one of the lads thats doing this for me cash in the past to buy a car while he sold another and he is one of my best mates. Its going to stand me at £450 but it would be a £1500+ job i expect. Also making use of a place over the easter break as apposed to doing it in "works time" as it were.
  11. Next weekend my car is being resprayed and I have spent some of this afternoon preparing the car for it. Its having a new front wing after its "mishap" with the wheel and a general tidy up as there is some paint missing on the bumpers and a fairly poor arch repair. Also going to sort out the rusted intercooler piping and generally make the car look like it should! So I've removed both door cards, sill trim, rear/bottom boot trim, upper boot trim and the spoiler today. As well as head light seals, and taken bolts out of the bumper and wing to try and speed us up next thursday night when it goes into the workshop. Plan is thursday night when im back from work to take my now dismantled car to the bodyshop place where a mate and I will work late to get it prepped and repaired thursday night. There is some repair work to do on a sill and door, small dents to get rid off and also some repair work on the drivers wing, another small parking ding! We'll mask the car of Friday morning then it'll be sprayed and baked in the afternoon and then in theory polished and rebuilt friday night/ saturday morning if we run over! I should really have taken pictures but there wasnt so much time! I'll be taking pictures through the work we do at the end of the week though! Just a real pain im away all week for work AGAIN!
  12. way before my time im affraid! lol
  13. Makes my 275/35 look a little weedy really! :(
  14. Very very nice! Liking the rear spoiler as well, infact sounds like everyone else is as well! The entire forum is going to have them at this rate! :)
  15. Figure of speech biatch! ;) They look expensive put it that way!
  16. Not always later! some NA's have them, my TT slicktop has it as well. Convertibles all have the manual climate control. Digital climate control was an option on some cars. I _THINK_ LWB TT's were standard with it throughout though!
  17. Haha, mine tramlines a bit on 8.5's on the front. Although there might be something else thats causing that at the minute :S Not suer! What tyres are on them at the moment? They do look so sticky that the car might never move off the spot! Your local tyre place must love you!
  18. Might tram line a bit though!
  19. Very very nice! Some cheeky Ksports underthere as well I see! :)
  20. £££ though! Supposed to be trying to save... lol dam car gulping down my money!
  21. You'd just have an old alfa spider tho, 10 times prettier than a shitty old green fiat! At least a Fiat barchetta or what ever they are called!
  22. I have 275 rears on my shorty... on 9.5" wheels they are Falken 452's. I was a bit scepitcal to be honest but im realising that in all conditions (except snow!!) they are providing very impressive grip and good handling. Obviously in the wet its a little more tail happy but they are powerful cars! My M3 used to spin up 245 michi pilots in the wet!
  23. Almost as cheap as this went for ! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=320504112386&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=011
  24. Dude... you really dont, but if you do i'll look after griff for you to clear some space at your house! :D
  25. oki dokey guys, cheers for the input! Still not sure on which route apart from NOT ebay :)
