Clarkey, before I had that tape taken off, and the stone gaurd all smoothed, I tried to peel it off myself. It was like half a mm at a time and a total nightmare. Maybe yours wouldn't be so stuck on but I bet it is. You know those labels on cd's that don't peel off? x that by about a million and you're almost there! I gave up anyway, and let the bodyshop do it! As for filling in the swage completely, its in progress on mine and I hope it will look like this psp attempt......

No creak on mine. And never heard of this kind of creaking. Only caliper creak, which is no fault of an autobox!

I used contact adhesive and it worked a treat - can find out the exact one if you want as I still have the tin.

Leigh - I like your question. Unfortunately I don't think there is an answer, just 'opinions'. But I guess from peoples opinions, you can make up your own mind. Its all down to taste. I think an interior that has steered away too much from the original starts to look a little tacky. Having said that, one that is done with good taste will look good........so I am totally contradicting myself, LOL. End of the day - you do whatever you damn well want and whatver makes you happy!

Don't ever mod a Z, or any car, expecting to get any money back on it.......do it because you want to! Its that simple.

HKS Super Seq on mine. Got them at a good price and wasn't sure about fitting them, but love scaring old grannies and impressing small children with them now.

Was a daily driver for a few years. Bought a mk2 Golf now for work/surfing runs etc. Best thing I ever did - makes th Z seem even more special when I drive it and saved a fortune on insurance.

I was kinda hoping the 350 would get the "Z" back in the public eye, and push UP the interest and price of the 300............Oh well......... :(

Cheers Dave. Not about much these days, have internet ban at work which sucks. New flat that needed completely redocorating has been taking up all my spare time recently. Z hasn't been driven for months now. Its tucked away in my garage. Will be back on the road though in next couple of months, better than ever ;)
