Well - don't like these anymore, which is a shame cos I ordered 2 types of this shape. Fooking waste of nearly £50. I'm onto these now, alot nicer.

Mine has been off the road for too long aswell - but well underway to being BACK on the road - and bigger and better. When I get that call from the bodyshop to say its ready to collect, I will revert back to being about 10 years old I think.

Blimey, thats quite a job to take on for your first go! Don't want to p1ss on your flames but I wouldn't like to try it myself. Thats quite alot of glassing work there, alot of blending to do. But if you fancy it then give it a go and good luck!

Alex - looking excellent dude. Has a real presence and love how it is that bit different but still classy. I know its annoying when someone adds in a "but" ............ but the numberplate is a bit on the big side!

Not sure on that Mark, might lose a bit of "specialness" if you had 2. My Z was a daily driver for 3 years or so and then I bought a mk2 Glf GTI for my daily runner. That was the best thing I ever did - now the Z REALLY does feel extra special when it comes out to play.

I knew "Ford" would come up........and no-one hates Ford's more than me! Nasty, horrible cars. The new Focus I believe have triangle shaped side repeaters. Hmmm, its a tricky one, I've ordered them anyway - see what they're like in the flesh. I was looking around for a nice reapeater on a Jap motor, to keep up the theme (what are R34's like?) - but couldn't really find anything I liked.

My Z is going to be seeing a fair bit of work soon and one of the things I wanted to change are the big, ugly side indicators. I have the clear one's but still think they are horrible. I'm after a smaller, sleeker looking light. I've found some triangle led types that I quite like but just wanted a 2nd opinion........are they pikey or Max Power-ish ??

Got mine esp for the Z at Cover Systems 01933 410851 and it is superb, the best you can get I reckon. (that could be what Dave's link is - I haven't clicked on it)

I have 2 rolls of the seal for the lights that I didn't use when I fitted my new 99 spec light units. There was enough of the black goo left on the body to use to re-fit, if you know what I mean. Subscribe - and they are yours for free.

You don't get the thin strips dude - one of the things that set the kit and the real items apart. I guess you could have a go at those yourself though.

Yeah, its called an ISO connector IIRC. Halfords sell all types. Pisses me off when shops/whoever say they don't do something when what they really mean is they don't know.
