im with aol get the same as stella does my head in just changed from 2.5mb down to about 0.3 and has never changed trying to get it cancelled the now to go with someone else

i managed to do this with everything in place took me 5 and a half hours mind you and a box of plasters to stop the blood from my hands going everywhere its can be done though

where abouts do u stay mate never even seen you lol james said he has run out of ideas now lol change a hose that had colapsed but made no difference checked the oil ect that was fine check plaugs cleaned them all re attached them still no change. he is going to make some calls on monday for me to a place in glasgow that fix them see if they know what it is then get back to me on what step to take next if its a new box or simple repair

been up to see the mechanic still no further forward he is going to make a few calls on monday for me and get beack to me as he says everything looks and sounds fine. he says the chances are it will need a new one but just wants to check first before making any decisions

im good friends with my mechanic he gives me a really good rate for any work so hopefully will not be to bad going to see him at 4 so will wait and see

i just bought one of these for my nephew last week. there was a bunch of us got these from america last year when they were first released

i know since you all read there is a problem with my autobox that im going to get loads of replies of just convert it. but really not got the money for that so hoping (although i prob know the answer) its just something simple. for the past few days the car wont go into 3rd gear when it tries to go into 3rd if u let the foot of the accelerator the revs will go right down then the engine cuts out. i checked the dipstick for gear oil (drivers side rear of engine am i right?) and it says its ok however it does look a little brown and i think its meant to be redish pink? and there are no shiny metal shavings or that in it. i ran the auto diagnostics last night and showed no error, reset the ecu aswell and it didnt change anything. its going up to my mechanic tomorrow for him to have a look just wondering if anyone here can answer it? also if it is the box what would the average price of getting it converted to a manual? and what would the average price of getting another auto fitted? think thats me done now lol

same as dta says make sure ur power runs down a different place from the speaker cables mine wasnt at first and gave a terrible noise from one set, moved them now its all fine. you can buy amp wiring kits from the likes of maplin that come with the inline fuse that must be fitted next to the battery, mains cables from batt to power cap, ground cable and some rca leads really just need to pick one tht is capable of supplying what you need im not really up on how you work it out as i got a guy to do mine first then when i was doing it was only altering what he had done. mine sounded better when i used a better quality speaker cable than was supplied with them but dont think its a must. i have 2 4 chanel amps running 2 subs and 2 8" components and one 2 chanel amp running my 6x9s in doors

started doing this yesterday car runs great then the engine just cuts out as if iv switched it off. i pull over and it starts again first time. there isnt any warning lights ect on and cant hear or see anything out of the ordinary is it likely to be the ptu i have a 1994 jap tt

iv just got mine back not long ago after a year and 2 month, however it was written off and was fighting with the insurers for most of that time so cant really complain to much however when the work got started was probably in for about 2 month more than it should have been

cheers had a little check at the relay box thingy today and didnt seem to me getting any power it is conected to the side lights will check more tomorrow though

after the joy of finding that my rear center panel is illuminated i have found that it doesnt work all the time any ideas where to start looking? secondly iv noticed that my door sill have a 300zx that should also light up but dont lol so going to work on it tomorrow just looking for tips on where to start

yeah had loads of them im down to only a couple now was just a case of going through them one by one and sorting it, got one i cant find on the rear drivers side and one just behind the drivers seat but sorted the rest of them. neighbours complain about the noise though as the only way to get them to rattle is having it up loud

its the 3rd version of it has took the longest lol but worth it. the guy that does the kits is supplying me with the same material as i got for the doors to retrim it. it probably is alot louder than i need it you can drive around with it at 1 on the volume an still hear it fine but then i turn it up to 27 and there is no point in even trying to talk to any1 sitting next to you even makes my gf feel sick lol

yeah comes with it all including the ones for the rear but i didnt use these as iv strippped my back sets out lol il try and find the link for it im sure they are still available comes with instructions aswell

i had this on mine a while back got the aa out the didnt know lol. had a look the next day in the daylight and it was a loose conection on the alternator

the ebay leatherette kit did only cost 50 quid from ebay so i cant complain really lol and was all pre cut
