i dont mind doing some jobs on the car but i think il leave the gearbox to my mechanic lol really want a manual so may consider leaving it till the end of february rather than january and save up the rest of the money but then again im good mates with my mechanic so might see what he can do for me payment wise would be able to afford the conversion kit end of jan anyway so its just the labour costs il need to get

well hoping to get the gearbox done in january, after talking to the guys at the meet the other night im wondering if anyone could give me a rough price comparison from just getting another auto put in or getting it converted to manual just so i know how much more id need if i went down the manual route cheers del

when you drove it and noticed it wouldnt change into 3rd did the car just die when you let the revs go back down? just curious as this is what mines does but only does it when its in the drive position if its in the 2 position doesnt do this. just i think mine has the same problem as yours

yeah stock springs ect im sure the guy who had it before me changed them but it was just with a new stock setup
