Shit happens and it did to me last year,my advice get a solicitor!!!! Much as i thought i'd sort it out with my ex of 12 years amicably it didn't work out that way at all.......................especially as money and two properties were involved,i also hope it works out and you both get what you want!!!

I've changed the clutch fluid and could only get DOT 4 instead of DOT 3,i'm worried this may affect the seals which may be the cause of an irritating clicking coming from the master cylinder!!!!!! Mineral or silicone???????????

No in fact i drained out all the clutch fluid moved the pedal and it stopped,put in fresh fluid and when the pedal stiffened up it started again.....

Try Vijay he may have an American upgraded one. Two failed on me, ****ing annoying especially when you're stuck at Hanger Lane with a bus up your pipes!

I've a really irritating clicking coming from the clutch pedal somewhere,tried greasing everything and squirting WD40 everywhere,on closer inspection it seems to be coming from just behind the bulkhead,any idea's how to get rid of it,it's driving me nuts...........so are my squeaky brakes!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can someone tell me the easiest way to black out the reverse lights???????? Tinted gels or spray?

My brakes are making a really irritating creaking noise when i use them,it seems to be coming from underneath the car but i could be wrong. There's plently of fluid and the brakes seem to work ok???? Anyone any ideas as to what it could be??? Alex alex.tcsoho@virgin.net

Does it just fit flat,with the hard card on top of it? Did you secure it to the polystyrene? Does it not overheat?

Sounds straightforward i know but i've just bought a CD changer and i want it to fit perfectly somewhere in the car and can't get it exactly to fit,i could screw it to the plastic covers somewhere but it doesn't feel that secure. Anyone any ideas or pictures i can have a look at with it fitted,it's a 10 disc changer......

Could it be the PTU? If it gets up to temp the wire stripes inside expand and come off the track which cuts outs the power. If it cools down it'll start. This has happend twice to me now but not since i've the upgraded version from the states. Alex

Nice one stuart i looked at your sit in the first place.... How the buggery *****cks did you manage to get a spanner round both sides????? I could get one round the right but every time i tried to undo it i slipped and pulled a layer of skin of my knuckles?????? Only thing i could do is get to very short 12m spanners... I had the same thing,i could have sworn some dwarf adjusted the clutch when i wasn't looking............ I pulled the biting point up and down a little 'till i was happy,now it seems to be fine.. Alex

Just so you know i've also an old Spitfire no not the plane the car and if you lean hard you can actually feel the windscreen moving forward slightly,i'd leave it remember it's been tested,crash tested and built to retain a certain amount of stress. If you ***k about with it you don't really know what you're doing. If you ever look at say a golf then look at the underneath of a golf convertable the sub frame is almost twice as big so to retain some rigiity. In a nutshell i wouldn't...........................then again could look good!!! Alex
