Nail on the head there bud Oak and water stains are a nightmare Work for building company as the poor barsteward who has to go to the completed houses after the purchaser has moved in and rectify things and although never get involved with water stains on floors but quite often on oak staircases the only way i have found to remove the stains once they have appeared is to get back to the Oak and use one of the bleachers that are available from a good decorating supplier then you have to make sure you remove all the bleacher remove all the varnish from the whole section and re-varnish or the section stands out like a sore thumb Not sure how much use this on a floor as we always call back the guys who supplied and fitted it as then if they screw up it is down to them to replace As the guys above have said avoid using water as much as you can and any small amount you use don't leave it lying and getting a chance to soak in

Really feel for you fella Just hope that their insurance don't pick up that your car was on the road without road tax Also please tell me you never told the police you were on the way to get your road tax I know in Hindsight it is easy to say you can tax your car online or over the phone now days

Just a note just in case any one wants to go the pre 300ZX meet there is no earlier Z Club meet at the Halfway house this month as it clashes with the Drag Challenge at the Pod The Z Club SEZK monthly meets resumes on the First Sunday in May

6th April is the Ist Round of the Z Club Drag Challenge Santa Pod - early start - bring driving licence to sign on.

what about putting a tax disc from another car on it for trip up there at least at first glance it would appear taxed then when it is at Z World get them to send it back in the post

They have been great for me over the last couple of years Flatbedded twice in 06 three time 07 and once so far this year:o Almost at the stage where the AA ask me to phone them before I go out so they can have a truck on standby just in case

I doubt it as well They do a home start for you but that wouldn't help you much And as it has no mot or tax don't think they would recover it (said in the looses possible way)for you
