  5. What gets up my nose is people who post on here pretending to be GOMs when all they are are young whippersnappers who have not lived long enough to qualify as GOMS All you lot are youngsters who have no real experience of annoyance and are just jumping on the GOM bandwagon Why don't the lot of you shut up and stop invading my space and form your own inferior GYB group

  10. I have just spoken to them as well and had a strange sort of conversation with a women there who said that she would ring the club rep and let him have the clubs pass code to give to people who had not received email tickets so they could turn up at the gate with their a copy of the order that was sent to them when they paid originally And guess what I have just been sent by email No not 3 e-tickets but another copy of the original receipt of payment I know of at least 5 on the Z Club who have recieved diddly squat e-ticket wise from them Is there any chance that there is a pass code been sent out for use on the gate with our original order I am going to print of my order and have it ready to take with me if the e-tickets don't arrive as promised
  11. Oh dear well as one of the guys who started the whole JAE thing many years ago I suppose that is me off your xmas list
  12. I remember when me and a couple of other guys from the Z Club started the whole thing back in 1994 at Billing Aquadrome when a few said "god the entrance to Billing is a bit dear" and it was cheap as chips then IMHO it grew into an absolute monster that became to big for anyone to do in their spare time an example of this was the one before last at Billing that I offered to take on again took me seven and half months of my evenings and weekends to organise and as nobody else came forward to take the following years event on it was passed over to an event company to do Billing cost nothing to hire where as the move to Peterborough,Mersea Island,Wickstead and now Newark show ground must cost a fortune to hire and the amount of staff they need to run the event must be huge and a financial nightmare to break even Although the original event had to move from Billing due to being to big and the facilities at Billing were getting old and inadequate It is nice to remember what great time were had there by everybody and it is a shame that a lot of people on here did not have the chance to enjoy them as it was the fore runner of all of the Japanese related car shows in this country Although it was basic compared to now days boy was it fun Oh and was not the year of the big storm at Peterborough Showground Bird you are getting so old now your memory is going!!
  13. Exactly would be good but me being cynical I could see the teams using one of their drivers to hold up someone to spoil their average time They have to alter something with this latest idiotic idea they have come up with
  14. stop insulting tosh, tosh is so much better How can Quali 3 finish with 3.5 minutes left of the 15 If they do not do something about it they will have hardly anyone paying to watch qualifying IMO they should make all of the last 10 left in qualifying have to run at least 3 timed laps and then take the average of those times then at least the punters would get value for money
  15. was not this there as well as a couple of quite rare Toyotas
  16. Well mine is not a stock body as i have had both knees replaced so does that make the NEC classic show not the place for me to made welcomed at as I don't have a stock body!!
