  1. The regular monthly meet that used to be at the Halfway House on the first Sunday of each month for the last 20plus years has now been relocated to The Lodge (SS11 7QT) Nr Battlesbridge and South Woodham Ferrers The Lodge is accessed on a single track entrance off the A132 Woodham Ferrers road opposite the Hayes Country Park which is now the new Mike Feeney residence
  2. Nah just tell it as it is with knees and hips I have had both scrapped with micro surgery earlier and then 3 years ago had both of the knee joints replaced within 7 months of each other and exercise was the name of the game lost a bit of weight but not as much as I should have don't No more coming down the stairs on my backside for me now (well as long as I don't have a skinful)
  3. Ian glad you have had it done as it should make it easier for you at least for a few years at worst but please please please do not take it easy and put your feet up as it will be the worst thing you could do Get your self an exercise bike and use it at least as many times a day as you can as it will help with the knees flexibility if you just sit around the op will not have done any good I hope you do not get offended at my next point and don't smack me when you next see me but seriously think about losing a bit of weight as any weight loss will really help with knee related problems hope the recovery goes well and you the pain is a thing of the past
  4. With the amount of money that you could lose surly it would be prudent to pay for a solicitor to give you advice asap
  5. From a poll on Z Club it seems AF is the most used one but quite a few dissatisfied customers Is it a case of the bigger the company the less they care if they do not satisfy a quite a few customers as they have so many the disgruntled in their eyes are just a spit in the ocean A member on the Z Club has put us in touch with a broker he knows who is willing to discuss the options of setting up a deal for all Z owners exclusively More details as and when
  6. After seeing the excellent display of Z32s on the stand and showing the general public these fantastic examples of standard models of the marque Well done guys I am wondering what cars will be on the stand next year as I feel that the modified examples are being shunned unless they are included in the display I have just located an excellent example of a very rare wide bodied Z32 and am trying to find out who made it and who has the moulds so I can attempt to bring them over to the UK so they wopuld be readily available for the masses who once seeing them would flock to fit them What I would like to do is to ask if there is any chance a car like this could be included on the stand at the 2016 NEC Classic Car Show Think you all must agree it is a wonderful bit of kit
  7. Love the idea of a Phoenix graffic but IMHO I agree with the above it needs to be small and discrete and not slap bang in your face as it will ruin he whole look of the car Well how come double post and why can I not delete it all
  8. Love the idea of a Phoenix graffic but IMHO I agree with the above it needs to be small and discrete and not slap bang in your face as it will ruin he whole look of the car
  9. Being a fool do not understand how the wheel looks so different to the one shown in the earlier photo? EDIT Doh now realise that is the wheel from the lorry
  10. So so gutted for you I feel that nothing I can say will ease your hurt but thank god you were not in the car at the time
  11. Out of all the ones I have tried so far I find myself leaning towards Thunderbird as it allows me to use both my @uwclub.net and @hotmail.com accounts and it has a junk filter on it Latest Outlook does not really work for me as cant use it for @uwclub.net Outlook express has no junk filter on it EMclient seems to let you have both my accounts on it and has a junk filter but hit trouble loading in second account Mailbird seem very basic seems to work for both accounts So think I am opting for Thunderbird and removing most of the others and concentrate on trying to customize it to how Iwant it
  12. As am used to being stuck in a bygone age Now trying to move into the present as I am so used to using the old Outlook Express and running it through Mailwasher so than all emails went there before being entered into OE after removing junk emails etc since going to windows 10 from, (do not laugh) XP I am struggling to use Outlook.com as it will not except my uwclub.net email address Tried various alternatives ie Emclient, Thunderbird, Mailbird and wondering what people on here use Would like one that I could use various email accounts on I as have about 3 of them ie uwclub.net, gmail and hotmail Maybe over the years i have been paranoid about viruses spam etc getting through into my pc from emails and loved the way that Mailwasher protected me but now when downloading that it does not now seem to work the same as the old version Any advise on best product for me would be great
  13. Maybe you are too new to the Z scene and a bit naive about anyone making good money from the sale of a restored Z as nobody recovers the cost laid out doing it and will be hit by a big loss but then maybe i am misreading your post
  14. Heaves Hotel at an early Lakez meet a few years ago?
  15. Fantastic news Steve With all the stress, dramas and heartbreak you have had with various long running issues regarding the car for one reason or another delighted that you are finally with the working finished article and can start to enjoy the car
  16. You would not lose 1/4inch all round on the inside measurements no matter what size studwork you use as the inside boarding would be there at all instances unless you decided not to boar the inside
  17. Even if it went to a TMO it was still a penalty and they would have lost anyway
  18. If you are only going for the day you would be far better going on the Saturday as Sunday sees people leaving quite early as a lot have a fair distance to get home
  19. Vince is indeed staying alive as I saw a recent photo of him at a carshow with I believe ceejay
  20. Come on now Gaz who else has an orange roof!
  21. Not sure how the event was run were individual owners invited separately or was the club invited and they invited the owners Lets say for instance the owners were invited individually by Nissan and they all parked up and a static accident happened surly Nissan would be liable to a claim On the other hand if the Club was invited and they invited the individual owners it could be liable for a static accident claim under the public liability insurance ( luckily in over 25 year of being involved in the Z community I have only heard of 1 highly dubious attempt of a claim on a clubs insurance that got with drawn after three days and that was someone trying to claim at an early JAE that tree sap had damaged his new paintwork that had only been completed a few days earlier)
  22. Where is Bird when you need him?
  23. So let me get this clear in my head Nissan holds an event for its staff for free Nissan invites various car owners along for free Nissan ask invited car owners to take passengers out on the track for free So who is liable for any risks
  24. A visit to one of the ZCCA conventions should be on any Z enthusiasts bucket list Been to 3 over the years and had a great time at every one
  25. In 2016 for the first time in 29 years the ZCCA Convention is going to be held outside of the USA [video=youtube;W5T-dJK3oOw]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5T-dJK3oOw
