Spoke to Mike in hospial today and gave him your regards He had another minor op today and seemed fine and would like to thank everyone for thier kind wishes

Heard on wednesday this week he was taken back into hospital again on the Sunday after you spoke to him He is having a rough time this is the second return after being discharged the first time

The cost of having a putting together a stand there now is high as the organisers started asking for backdrops to the stands and as Jezz says it is a four day commitment The Z Club has also had a Z32 on the stand a couple of times but we stopped doing the show when it changed from a two day show to a three day show and they wanted backdrops etc

Would there be any interest in a Santa Pod day, say early summer 2008 (weekday)?????????? You would have Plenty of time to learn the skills Little or no pressure Exclusive access to the track As many runs as you can fit in Our cars (or invited clubs/cars)only Canteen and toilet facilities No motorbikes (unless they were invited) If we could get as little as 30 people to commit, it may be affordable Yes ok you would have to sacrifice a day off from work but it wouldnt half be fun. Who knows, maybe the 300zx.co.uk guys would like to enter a shootout with us or maybe if there are any other car clubs that would like to share the cost. Thoughts please (and remember you own sports cars, its what their built for)

No matter what some may think of him He still took time out to join in the Z Parade even though it was straight after just finishing a round of the time attack

The Z Club hold at least a series of six meets a year there that is The Drag Challenge they allways look forward to Z Owners coming along and try to wipe the arse of Steve Kiddlell Z and the like In fact Slick Pete (Pmac) won the series last year in his Z32 This series has been run by Mike Feeney for more years than I can remember and there is also a Hall of Fame been compiled listing the fastest 50 times for a driver over the last twenty years I know that a replacement rained of round is taking place this weekend and I believe the final round is next Sunday at the Pod Sorry for taking the thread off topic a bit

Mike so do I want him to win and this season he has brought back some excitement back with him being the new kid on the block But IMHO F1 will be back to the same old boring coverage next year when Lewis is no longer a newcommer and the tv coverage insists on showing the first few cars in the rece where as the real excitement is more in the midfield where the bulk of the close racing takes part normaly the first few places reflect the position in Qualifying and hopefully next years restrictions make for closer racing at the front of the field

total agree that they should not be allowed to take part Also think that 1/ each nations flags should not be allowed in the parade 2/all women should have thier legs covered in events 3/ no white or coloured people should be allowed to take part 4/ all women should have thier faces covered in events 5/there should be no white lines on any of the tracks as all of these may upset some minorities oh forgot no starting pistols and no male or female only events

Spoilt little brat, god knows what he will be like after winning the title this weekend he needs to have a PR man give him some help Also IMHO I am not saying he is not a great driver and it is great for a Brit to win the title but hey if the Mclaren is excluded from the manufacturers championship how the hell can a driver win the championship driving a Mclaren

Rob Hughes aka (zedhead260)has a few spare Z club car passes to get you to park on the clubs stand away from the general parking visit last post in this thread http://www.zclub.net/forum/showthread.php?t=10813 for details you would have to still pay your own entrance fee Also I believe that it will be used as a rearranged round of the Z Club's Challange and would give you all a opertunity to whip some of thier butts down the strip

Just to let you all know spoke to Matt Bannister tonight, who visited Mike in hospital this afernoon and he told me he has had his operation and is felling good and is pleased with his new body kit ( not sure if it was sponcered by Stillen though)

Z Club I believe will be there as on one day it is a rearranged rained off round of the Dragrace Challange

Andy If I remember correctly we hit a slight problem with Billing re having a DJ there when they said that the dj and his equipment could not be on the grass I think we overcame it by agreeing that we would have a boarded base for his stuff to go on (need to check with Derek as I might be talking through my backside and got it totally wrong)
