Well it only started yesterday it had been parked for 4 days when i started it i could here one lifter tapping,drove it for a while then it went and was fine for the rest of the day. Now i have started it again and same thing till it warms up any ideas lads 1990 tt .

Mine went on me sunday, what is the best rad to go for? something always goes wrong when i dont drive the car :headvswal its a 300zxTTauto. The radiator was reconditioned but its the plastic part thats gone. :(

I got the exact same problem only noticed it the other day only when you boot it does it leak then smokes. :(

I dont think they are racing you mate just trying to keep up,i never race just drive at a quick pace,ive had a guy wanting to race me in a golf so i slowed down he went pass me very quick,as i got down the road a bit he had crashed into the central barrier. So when you get a person trying to race you just slow down and watch them make fools of themselves :xxx:

Hi mate that was me how you doing i live in the area. :)

Your brakes are low mate, check the metal bits attached to the brake pads they normally touch the disc when low and make a scraping sound like the one your hearing.

Could be your brakes are low and the metal bit on the brake pad to let you know they need to be changed are rubbing on the disc. :)

maybe your starter motor has jammed,so the engine does not turn? if so you may need another starter motor.

I do the same and i dont care ill park crossways if i have to :D
