Silver Zed with 99 spec lights and spoiler. Followed you from Team Valley through the back roads to Ouston...and yes it was me flashing. Friday 26 at 7:15-7:25pm (ish)

Car starts fine and the light is now constantly flashing at the same steady pace, about once every second. It is like a standard immobilizer light but thought it best to check. Got an electrician coming to finish my wiring on Wednesday so prob just get him to check it out.

I have a red flashing light next to my digital clock on the centre consol. This has only started flashing since I installed my indiglo dials installed/lights rewired. I am assuming (mechanic) as ever reconnected a wire or something. Anyone know what it's for?

Well i'm not sure of the way or where those services are, prob drive past it not realising. I wouldn't mind meeting up with someone somewhere on along the line spesh before or as leaving the A19

Got address listed (Motoscope (Northallerton) Ltd, Standard Way Ind Est, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL6 2XE) so you can do a map search or something. Checked my a-z's and looks like A19-off at A684 (northallerton)-right on A167 (darlington road) - left on Yafforth Road (B6271) - finally right onto Standard way. Old skool directions! If any one wants to meet up will be happy to, then we can get lost together.

Never raced an M3 but did pull one over when I had the siren on the car :x: He cut me up on a dual carriage away so put on the siren and he slowed right down and started to pull over to stop and then I floored it. Will miss that siren!

Bell.com are supposed to be good as hey are now supposed to specialize in new rivers. You should also check the insurance companies in the back of the booklet your examiner gave you on being a 'new driver'. These contain insurance companies who are also supposed to specialize in first time drivers.

I don't normally have much luck with the cars I own. Had a mondeo (£1500) that went tits up so it got scrapped, got a Rover 75 (£3000) and after a week some serious engine work needed doing (can't remember what for, valves blown or something, 18 hrs labour charges for stripping engine) not to mention the services and parts bought for it in a year (part ex'd it for Zed). Swore I would only by new (other than the Zed) from now on. Come end of the year I should be buying a new car on finance (looking at new Civic Type R) for my run around but until then I will just make do with the Zed.

I bought it as a car to be used, so it shall be in all weathers. Obviously I don't want to drive it in these conditions but if I must then so be it. And as I must then I shall need to get used to it. Thanks for the warnings guys, taken on board, but can't afford 2 cars so if I couldn't drive it in the snow then I probably would not of got a Zed. Mines an auto so at least I can drive it with the power off and my work route is all main roads so hopefully be fine.

Agree with funki. Supra stock does look boring and I tend to see a fair few of them around and become less appealing every day. Rather get a R33/34. You mention it yourself your not keen but if you want that power and can mod it the way you want then go for it.
