I would like advice on dump valves if possible. I've seen various Z's claiming they have Blitz dump valves fitted. When I spoke to Blitz on the phone I was informed that they do not do a particular dump valve for the Z, only a universal one. I have been told that if I get a unversal one it would need a bracket and some welding would need to be involved. As I know diddly squat about welding I was wondering how big a job this would be. Price quoted for the universal dump valve was £220. Can anyone confirm if they have had the universal dump valve fitted or whether it's a blitz dump valve from a different model car. The only dump valve I can find for the Z is from HKS but they are charging £395 + VAT. Is there a massive difference between the Blitz and HKS to justify the money? As I mentioned I know bog all about welding it looks like I might have to head towards the HKS one.

Only had my Z for just over a month but would be nice to actually see how its running. When would you need a definate answer by (work issues...we all have them)

Does anyone have advice on what suspension set up is best with electronic dampners fitted so I can raise the car height from inside the vehicle (having massive clearance issues at the minute) It was mentioned by my mate who thinks Eibach do them (he is looking put some, dare I say it, on his Supra) for the Nissan but he is not sure. If it helps I have a budget of around £800. I have an 89 TT Auto Targa 2+2 All advice appreciated.

Does anyone know where there is a rolling road in the Tyne & Wear (Gateshead) area that will test a 300zx? I have contacted a couple and I am informed that most Z's are too low for their's and as mine has been dropped (about 3" at front). Should I give up on the fact of using one? Obviously I would love to test the power of my newly aquired Z (89 TT auto) so I can watch it's progression over the forthcoming months as it upgraded but also because someone has knacked my speedo and it's needs calibrating (I am no good with electrics).
