Well my indiglo dials are finally fitted in my Zed, whoop :dance: I can't take any credit as I got the auto electrician to pick my car up from work in the morning, re-wired my front lights (had bad connections), fitted my dials and calibrated my speedo and kindly returned my car to work for me to finish and ride her home. I know that most of you (who got them) will be fitting them yourself but I quite enjoyed this way. :)

Originally I thought B*****ks but then thought anything is possible when it comes to Zeds, nice one mate...bet the drive wasn't as fun tho

Did anyone from here (other than Stellaz) attend the Jap Northeast meet after 3.30pm and owns a blue Zed? Stellaz and myself left around this time but on the JNE site there is a post about a good looking 300 being there. Shame I missed it :cry:

I love ZEDS, waited 17 years to own one since my first sighting (1989). I have been told yours is a smart motor so looking forward to seeing it. The only other Zeds I've seen, other than stock, in person is Stellaz.

I didn't know that you had that much done to it. It seems a shame to sell but understand your view. Can't believe the price your selling it for, i may be wrong but believe you could easily get more and still manage a quick sale. My mate is a no go i'm afraid as he wants to more stuff himself and is now looking for as close to stock as possible. Good luck with the sale.

At first glance it looks like a tidy car but would really need to see it in person before I could give an honest opinion. Shame I don't live near swansea so I could check it out with a mate, as I really haven't got anything better to do. All I can do is compare it with mine and let you make up your own mind. I got a black '89 (z32) TT auto and Targa roof. Mine come with fox alloys, leather trim, lowered, tinted windows and undersealed...also an import, 117000 km and the belt has been changed. I got all this for the bargain price of £1250. ....................Just kidding £3000! Only had my Zed a couple of months and loved it every day since. I even seperated with my lass 3 days after I got it (mutual, ; her decision) which made me smile even more...well almost. Good luck with it all.

So spongey how much will you be selling the Zed for? I read that you have already brought bits and bobs so was wondering on price. My mate is considering getting one over a Supra and loves white cars. Not sure what his budget is at the moment, it's just so I can approach him with a ball park figure.

Cool parking. Always wanted to see these people move there cars out afterwards though.

Not sure how your situation started as only seen your threads since december. My view is if you done all that work and still thinking of changing then you kinda already made up your mind. I personally would get a 'minter' of your choice to get you back in the right direction

Not sure what it is called but there is a really good adhesive remover spray which I got from B&Q (not a lot of help there). It's a white tine with orange lid and if you spray it it stinks of really strong oranges. Moved every type of adhesive I tried it on without any marks. Ran out and meant to get some more. .?.Adhesive remover. Otherwise what he said

Any thoughts on what time people might be meeting for? I am having a ly in I know that but don't even know what time it starts

Luckily it seems not as bad as you (sorry). My problem is I am not great around an engine. Can do odd jobs and follow diagrams and use common sense but that's about it. Due to this I saved money to buy a beefy import. After about a 2 years I just about had the money then low and behold you need to use it on something that cropped up (gutted) :cry: After this I couldn't wait another lenghty time so only spent about 3 months finding a Zed I liked and could work on. Never regreted it since, couldn't trade the Zed for anything else. :)

Driving at speed limits in and around town I just about get 200. Have more fun and I don't really lose that much more (strange I know). Not really botherd tho as the fun of the ride doesn't even make me think about fuel costs. The only place I can see a difference is obviously driving on the motorway but I have never yet made 300 miles to a tank. Even at a steady 70 going to New Quay and back (1000 mile round trip).
