Ferrybridge Super Zed meet
Well at least I know where it is. I attended the Ferrybridge one Sarah organised and would love to see some more Zeds in the flesh, only seen 4 so far. Count me in as long as my Zed is running, if it's not I may turn up in my dad's car to meet more of you and your rides.

Help, please!
Was worried that's what it was! Anyone know what I am looking at cost wise for this. I have already started looking for a run about so i can get it sorted properly but wouldn't mind a figure to work off. How do i do a compression test?

Help, please!
Howdy all you technical genius's. Right today I by-passed the heater matrix with a new heater hose & copper pipe. When I try to start the engine it is not firing (first time I tried since the matrix went). It is trying really hard to and almost gets there and no more. With the radiator cap off it shows some steam coming out whilst it tries to start (can't understand why as engine is cold, been sitting since Monday) and then chucks water out. Anyone got any ideas? I am not technically minded and don't know my way around and engine so will get it looked at professionally but any advice you have will help.

Japnortheast April 15th Sunderland Meet
Really wanted to go but I doubt I will make it as I am attempting to replace the heater matrix this weekend and not sure how long it will take or if I will get it finished (missed Donny due to it). Lets hope the rest of the year gets better as I have already spent £2000+ since Jan on replacement parts/maintanence (not including mods) and it's been brought home on a flatbed twice this year. Hopefully everyone elses are running smoothly Hopefully the summer will be much better!

Help, please!
OK folks I have a mate (mechanic  ) coming to help replace the heater matrix (once I get a new one) as the garages up here are rediculous and been quoted between £300 - £350 in labour as they have never done one. I have read through alot of old posts regarding replacing it and as mine is an auto have heard this can be done without removing the dash (Boldy stated 3 hours in his). Can anyone supply any information as to how this can actually be done or where this 'elusive screw' is for it to be removed. All help is greatly appreciated.

Help, please!
 And the money pitt digs deeper. :smash: Cheers mate, will see what quotes I get regarding labour now, something to work from.

Help, please!
Who's is a manual? just checked and yes there is water on the passenger footwell. Anyone know how bigger job this is? I will need to find a garage that will replace one so need to work out labour costs etc.

Help, please!
Great, 3 days after passing the MOT my car died on me on a roundabout. I had steam coming from the engine and water/coolant in my footwell. All the water from the radiator had evapourated and is bone dry. Once got the car towed home I topped up the radiator and left it over night. There is no sign on of any water leaking from under the car but my mats are soaking. Anyone know what this is or how it could be fixed. Guessing a split pipe or something but been reading through other threads and thinking possible heater matrix? Also there is a slight hissing when the car tries to start up coming from under the steering rack/footwell and can see some coolant spits/spray residue above the pedals. All help appreciated.

HICAS diagnostic, Steeing Sensor?
Hello all, After my blowout on the front passenger side my HICAS light came on after I got the new tyre on. There is a slight veering to the left so will need to get the tracking sorted as soon as. But as this is my 2nd blowout in a month (tyres new on in December) on the passenger side (first Rear, 2nd front) I am starting to think there is a problem. Especially as I noticed slight wear on the inner side of the tyre 9full tread everywear else) My HICAS light had never shown up previously so not sure if this is even the cause. Anyway I read the posts on HICAS diagnostic and followed this. I got the code 7 which relates which shows as 'Steering Neutral positon sensor'. Now I am at a loss. Any advice on where this is located or how it can be fixed. Or how big a problem this is. Also after reading other posts I am wondering if there are any benefits to removing the HICAS system and is it a big job.

who is drifting with a blue Z in UK???
It may have been a shame as it was a good looking car but once it was sold on that was that. think it's great to see Zed's drifting and would love to see one in the flesh being driven to the edge. Full support here Bud, tell him best of luck with it.

someone keeps letting my tyres down.
Same happened to me evry monday when I play footy. Both passenger side tyres were flat. Bought some anti theft valve caps and had no trouble since. And they are cheap as chips. Problem solved (unless you got a punture or 3 :wack: )

Old tw@t on A19 caused accident
What a thread!!!!!! Glad you ok Bud and can totally agree with you. Been in a similar position myself (as a passenger) in my mates car. It comes on you quicker than you think and over in a flash. It's easy to sit here reading the thread and everyone knowing what should be done 'next time' but we all know it doesn't work like that (unless your trained lke Nick). My mate was being tailgated at the time and he was watching him in his rear view mirror when we came round a bend to find a car in the middle of the lane. My mate just clipped it a spun onto the hard shoulder. Again why was the car there! (this car was empty) You seem to have handled it well in my opinion and wish I could avoid such an accident if it were ever to occur.
