Intermittant Speedo
UK spec doesn't need a convertor. Could be the speedo itself then. Apparently they can get dry joints on the PCB's and go a bit flakey.

Locking wheel nuts...
Go for five (different) sets then. That'll stop 'em!

Who's your fantasy Tele babe?
No mate, it was Farah Fawcett in Charlies Angels (married to Lee Majors). She was only in the first series as well. I always preferred her replacement though, Cheryl Ladd. Fecking lovely! She still does it for me now too! Oops, I'm drooling now.

Roads - Pay as you go scheme
I was thinking that too when I was listening to those t0ssers talking about it on TV the other night. I reckon it's just another pie-in-the-sky (no pun intended) idea from a bunch of half wits. Someone probably said "How do we track a car?", some other dipstick mentioned "GPS", another dim-wit said "like sat-nav" and yet another pr$ck came up with "...so we can tell where the car is at all times by satallite. Fantastic". This Think-Tank then submits their awesome knew idea to to biggist dickheads in the land - the government! They all dribble over the thought of this sexy, new technological answer and plaster it all over the media. The far more intelligent public (not including the arseholes who voted this government back in of course) know it's a total load of old *****x! If it actually got anywhere, think of all the new businesses that would appear making little black-boxes. So maybe it's all just a new job-creation scheme really. Time will tell.

What is the maximum bhp that an N/A has reached??
I think what John's doing by using the Q45 engine is what Nissan would probably have done if it had been available when the Z32 was being designed. They could only use what they had and what would fit under the sleek bonnet of the car, hence no 4wd too. It was a lot cheaper and quicker to develop the z31's engine than an all-new one. Good luck to JD (and others) who are going down this route!!

NZR - Plasma, LCD or CRT TVs which is best?
Wait till next year when the HDTV thing starts to settle down. It's no good getting a bigger screen until the resolution is there to fill it! I've seen a lot of plasma screens that show 'phospher burn' after only about a year! (They're on 24/7 though, but still worrying!) There are some amazing LCD screens knocking about now too. The one on the top-end Sony laptop is superb. BUT...Unless I can watch it, in my living room, on a bright sunny day, I don't want it. The days of closing the curtains to watch TV are long gone! (eg. rear projection....useless!. Front projectors, not much better.)
