  1. It was the AA, but they stopped it several months ago.
  2. Did you chrome the lens ring too then? The 'pills' were originally wrapped in foam, so I doubt heat is a major problem in there. I was thinking of using the silica sachets too.
  3. and......................... Go on, spill the beans......... Thought I might learn something there. Some of us need to know these things!! :(
  4. Yeh, there's a ******* of a bolt to get at on the near-side one.
  5. How have you chromed it?
  6. :ttiwwop: Sorry, had to do it! When you pulled the headlight apart, did three little brown 'pills' fall out?
  7. Just renewed my subscription to the club. I used the PayPal link from the 'order' page but I got no option on PayPal to enter any details. My PayPal id is "grahamstoneman1@hotmail.com". Thanks.
  8. I keep hearing this crud about Nostradamus. EXACTLY what did he say about Hitler. If he described a nastly little Austrian with a stupid little moustache in 1939, then I'd be impressed. If not, it's just modern interpretations of a vague description. All IMHO of course.;)
  9. Chewie, couldn't you find a larger pic for your sig mate!
  10. 6' 2". That's why I like the Zed.........I can fit in it ok. A Japanese sports car with with more headroom than many family saloons I've driven!
  11. That looks like the one that was on TV the other night.
  12. Yeh, Overhaulin' is much better. Chip Foose is a genius too.
  13. The only problem with the Ebay ones is that they are for US speedos. Your speed will be wrong unless you recalibrate the speedo. ie. full scale being 160mph (US) instead of 180mph (UK), 190mph (Jap).

  15. He'll probably have the same problems I had then if they're the same dials. I had to make a new front for the indiglo oil dial to attach to. Bit of a PITA really, and then had to 'remove' a chunk of the rev dial support leg as it interfered with the new oil dial face. Got there in the end, but it was far from straightforward. Oh, and a spare needle-stop to fill the hole in the new temperature dial face.
  16. Yes. The temp guage doesn't have a neadle stop. ;) The oil pressure guage is totally different physically! You have anything specific in mind matey?
  17. Oh! Watch it "pie-eater".
  18. 300zx manual The service manual quotes "at least 95 RON must be used" for Europe (ie turbo) cars and "recommends....above 95 RON" for Australia (ie NA) cars. It doesn't mention Japan. :smash:
  19. From Shell website:
  20. Shell Optimax (is/was) 98 RON. That's what it was sold as. It should say 98 on the pump too. If not, I'd be suspicious they've quietly changed it! BP Ultimate is 97 RON (just another Super Unleaded really) Std unleaded is 95.
  21. Ah, the wonders of the 21st Century technology. Only 5 days to clear a cheque. Yippee. (Hmmn, wasn't it only 3 days fifty years ago??).
  22. Who/where is the company?
  23. Any update on this guys?
  24. LOL. It has actually found stuff that none of the others have though!
  25. USE THEM ALL and be safe out there!! I run Adaware, Spysweeper, Spybot, Zonealarm Suite, MS Antispy and even AOL has it's own spysweeper. They all seem to find different things so I keep 'em all. The little fookers 'aint gonna get me, no sir.
