  1. cheers Paul It is slightly frayed where the buckle would typicaly sit, so it may be a bit 'iffy' . I'll put it in and see how it goes. Cheers Robin
  2. Anyone know if a slightly worn seatbelt is an MOT failure ? Cheers Robin
  3. Doesn't piston volume, i.e. valve cutouts, or any other piston crown mods, come into the equation somwhere ? Robin

  5. Cheers Andy Just as well it's got twin pop then ! Wot exactly does it do ? Robin
  6. Cheers WillieO Consult says there working fine, guess they were'nt up to temp when i did the ECU test. Ryan, got the recircs off, can't blow through them, though not sure me old lungs can make 1.25bar of pressure :D Beggining to struggle a bit as i still haven't found anything loose or split  Found half a forest worth of leaves stuck to the AC condensor, which may explain why it was running hot. More later Robin
  7. Anybody offer any clues as to why one of my recircs has been modded It's plumbed in here Only one is like this, the other is as normal Cheers Robin
  8. Cheers for your help today Ryan. Front of my car now totaly in bits. Haven't found any split or loose hoses yet and my Greddy intercoolers look ok. Going to delve into the recircs tomorrow and work back towards the turbos. Also possible one or both of the wastegates aren't closing properely. Altough the suddeness of the problem tends not to suggest this. Anyway thanks again Robin
  9. Does it feel like it's moving around at the rear or the front ? if it feels like the rear and the dampers are ok then other possibilites would be, balljoint on Hicas arms (jack car up at the rear and see if you can move the wheel) or at a longshot, a wheel bearing. The thumping sounds like it Could well just be the damper bottoming out due to lack of fluid Robin
  10. Hi greg Is it front or rear leaking ? If it's rear a common symptom is the rear stepping out of line over potholes. Did mine on my old Z, easy to do, felt like a completely different car afterwards. Don't forget to get a 4 wheel alignment done after fitting the new ones. If your tension rod bushes are leaking then they have a split in them and all the silicon gel will eventually leak out. Common symptom for this is break judder. Do them both at the same time. There's been some debate on here about replacement poly bushes, so do a search and make your own mind up. Hope this helps Robin
  11. Call you 'bout 6.30-7.00. If we could do this tonight that would be cool. Cheers Robin

I've got a puk, it's more like a switch than a clutch. Also the bite point drifts about, which is bloody annoying. RPS supplied a free slave cylinder which was supposed to cure the problem. It made it better but didn't cure it. Cheers Robin

  22. Hi Alex Yes i do. I'm a hydraulics technician on the test team. Have to leave for heathrow half way through the GP to go to Monza. :( Robin
  23. I susspect you're probably right SRRAE. We (BAR) just can't match there pace in the middle of the race but they are doing something a bit clever with there fuel loads in the race which gives them about a 10kg advantage over us. Also the FIA clarified the rules on what telemetry can be use during the starts which may have an effect on who gets off the line quickest. Cheers Robin
  24. Whilst there fitting the above parts get them to check the tie bar bushes. This is the cause of this problem in about 70% of cases. Cheers Robin
