Dear Cos, It's not about how long the positivity lasts or dangling carrots that is the issue. Consistency & good customer service especially when things do go wrong is the key. It's not about whether Jeff can change a cambelt or whatever... I never said all his work was unacceptable. A lot of people do really good work on this forum, and never get much praise. I would except a light service not to have many/any problems that a competent mechanic couldn't fix and I'd expect it to run well after paying my money. There is a lot of quoting the obvious here. Jeff is not a mechanic and I quote "zed world is a hobby" So as with in virtually any profession there will be gaps in anyone's knowlege. Cos I like you mate, why stir it up again... ? It doesn't resolve nowt in the long run.

I'm sure you wouldn't want to...as I might just get a full length male one for me....:eek: now that would be bad if you must send them by email to each other, i'd rather not have to look at them allday also alot of people go on the forum at work, so there is a risk they would be viewing soft porn (some companies are getting quite strict about it):eek:

Dufflecoat WTF!!!!! I haven't been able to get on for a while due to server problems at work ....... only 295 to read Whats going on ??????? my mechanic leaving... thats bad I can't send you stupid questions now aw gawd... I don't trust any one else with my zed, no offense to other mechanics who I've not met ... you know what i'm saying. whats the hell's going on, the forum's gone bloody mad... I know its not been brillant for a while, :cry: I' d rather you stay, see what goes on... let things settle down a bit... The reason I love this forum, (jeez was actual bit down at work cos just couldn't get on for ages... ) it's cos of the people who are on here who are mates... who I can talk to, who support me and we all have a laff.. even though i know diiddly squat about cars/zeds, I've learnt a lot, but I'm here cos I wanna natter,i about everything and learn a few things along the way f it was just the zed, i'd have 5 posts saying my blah blah is sick..... or look this is shiny... its been making weird noises ever since I've had my zed:confused: even if I go up slight hill I can't hold it on the clutch cos it makes a horrid loud grinding noise, big hills are a big no no as I have to use my handbrake...... see other thread about that:cry: is it the thrust bearing? (sounds rude to me) or do I need a new clutch or can it be fixed? its starting to piss me off now
