i have a 1990 N/A and had exactly the same symptoms. I found that the previous owner had disconnected the speed sensor into the ECU either by accident or on purpose. I hooked it back up through a Greedy Speed Limiter controler and no more cut out at 5500 rpm's. Remove the plywood in the footwell to expose the ECU and look for a pink wire running into the right lower connector to make sure it's secure.

Best trick I use for getting bugs off my helment visor without scatching it is to lay a towel soaked in hot water over it for about 5 minutes. They just wipe right off!

Funny thing is on the way back from Silverstone at around 80mph I was getting what sounded like muffled heavy bass (kinda like a cow). Is there an easy way to check the centre prop bearing?

Yep, there's no doubt bullet's car was entering the complex at very high speed and then handling the corners with no drama. What brand adjustable coilover did you use?

Looks like the track exposed the wear on my stock 17 year old suspension. :headvswal After seeing Silver Bullet carve through this same corner, I cant believe how much roll I was getting. Fuuny, but it didn't seem so bad in the right handers. Do you think a good pair of coilovers will sort it or is there possibly something wrong with the sway bar linkage?

Great day out, met lots of new people and the regulars from South Central were out in force. The parade lap and track sessions were the highlights of the day, even managed to pass a few 240Z's! Dont think we will ever see a meet with over 180 Zeds again, glad I was part of it.
