OPINIONS ON FITTING OF 19's??
My N/A had the 19's on when I bought it. A first they seemed a bit over the top but they have grown on me and now I think they look perfect. This is my first Z so I cant comment about how it would handle with 18's but it seems to handle pretty damn good to me. I've managed to scare just about everyone I've taken for a drive! The way it takes corners at high speed with no drama is really impressive. As far as lowering it, coilovers will be my next mod. I'm running 275/30 in back and 235/35 in the front. Only have about two fingers of space between the tire and arch in the back so wont be able to lower it much without some serious rubbing problems. Plenty of room in the front though.

tunnel run tomorrow....
I will be pulling out of Winchester at about 4:30, if anyone wants to meet up at Winchester Services at 4:45 and convoy in that would be great. Really looking forward to this, even bringing the wife along so she can meet the crew (plus need someone to hold the digicam). :p

300zx undertray's
What do you think is a fair price for front and rear undertrays for a 300ZX? After a long search I found a used set in pretty good condition and I'm negotiating a price.

DJCC Sunday Pub Lunch Meet: 04/02/07
Looks like I wont be making it after all. Thought I'd install my de cat pipes today and managed to snap three of the header studs. :headvswal Tried drilling them out but they are hard little bast**rds! After wasting three hours trying every trick I know, I gave up and drove over a local mechanic I trust. Pretty loud with just the headers on, if you heard something that sounded like a Spitfire in Hampshire this afternoon it was probably me! Mechanic informed me that he was fully booked and couldn't get me in until Tuesday. Guess it was just one of those days... Hope you all have a good time, catch you at the next meet.

speed sensor disconnected

speed sensor disconnected
Anyone know the effect of the speed sensor being disconnected from the ECU? While running the power for my amp I noticed a Greddy speed limiter controler cut next to the ECU with one loose wire so I figured it had been disconnected. With some help from the friendly people at 300zx.com I got the wiring diagram for the Greddy and the ECU. However when I went to wire it up I found that the connector used to splice it into the speed sensor had come un-crimped and the bare wire was laying behind the ECU! I got everything hooked up properly and it seemed to be running smoother and also seems to have more power. Is it just my imagination or does the ECU go into some safety mode when this signal is missing?

As Mr Burns says...
Your way too low, going rate for software development is 80 - 100GBP/hour. Maintainance is mandatory and will usualy be 12% of the purchase price/year. I work at a large medical device manufacturer and we have software engineers and SAP specialists on contract for these kind of rates for 40 hours a week for up to 1 year.

Your a star Andy! Thats a good start. Do have any info on the ECU wire color for the speed sensor? (I think it's pink)
