  1. Not a chance bud, too much fun messing with TT's!!! No big brake setup, senors cant be dirty but (see below)... Gaz, you may be on the right track. I was getting an intermittent ABS warning light for about a month. While I was tracking this problem I noticed my far side front wheel bearing was shagged. When I replaced the right hub assembly (easier than replacing the bearing) I noticed that the wheel sensor had come into contact with the gear at some point and chipped out a piece of it. I cleaned it up and reinstalled it and the ABS light never came on again. I will try replacing the sensor unless someone has a better idea.
  2. My 300ZX has developed an odd problem with the ABS. Everytime I come to a stop the ABS kicks in just as I slow to about 2 miles/hour, I can hear it whirring away behind the drivers seat. It's like the ECU senses the wheels are coming to a stop but doesn't sense that I'm already at a very low speed. No warning lights are showing. This used to happen on very rare ocasions but now happens every time I stop. I have bled the fluid at the ABS unit and no air was present. I've also checked the LED on the ECU and no error codes. Any ideas?

  22. Sorry I missed this one, just started a new job and had to work today from home. Looks like you had a good day out, see you at Billing in a couple weeks.
  23. A slight roll would have no risk of cracking the paint. Archenemy will say it's a 50/50 chance dependent on filler and the age and condition of the paint. I lost a couple of small chips on the far side edge, but I had him pull the arch pretty far out as I plan to correct the rear camber soon and mine is real low. Yours would need a very slight roll so should have no problem. They clean the area really well before begining the roll and use a sealant on the inner wing afterwords so no rust should occur. There is no denying the wing will be weaker after the roll, the stock wing has an inner lip that is 90 degrees to the outer surface. This lip provides a great deal of rigidity to the wing but also is the first spot to rub on the tyres. During the roll this lip is rolled flat to the inner wing and the entire wing is pulled outwards to the requested ammount. Here's a couple of better pictures of mine to give you an idea of the end result. BEFORE - AFTER - INNER LIP DETAIL - this looks pretty bad, but is only noticible if you get down on the ground and look upwards. I will use some touch up paint to seal it and start saving for a planned repray.
  24. Everything went well today. Three Zeds and a Skyline had their arches significantly streched. Gumball's was the biggest challenge as he got a pretty extreme roll on the front to clear his new wheels. All the cars came out nice although Gumball lost a little filler and the Skyline got a bit rippled on the nearside. Absolutely perfect sunny day, I think we all got sunburned watching the guy work!
