Made my own blanking plates to cover the holes in the plenum. Pretty rough job as I worked some flat steel stock using a jig saw, grinder, and file. Not pretty but did the job and cost nothing... Removed and plugged all the various vacuum lines but left the egr unit on the back of the engine as I couldn't get my fat hands in there. Hard to say if it changed the way the engine ran as I did the manifolds, full exhaust system, AIV, and Apexi filter at the same time.

Three authors you should look out for - Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and Clive Barker. Dont think they've ever written a bad book!

I'm sure you'll be fine darlin! I recently had to go through a number of interviews after being employed for over 20 years. Most places use a style called behavioral interviewing, where they ask for examples of when you demonstrated the qualities they are looking for rather than focusing on qualifications. With your background running your own business (and your gift of gab) you should do really well. Either way it will be a good experiance, it took me 3-4 interviews before I got really comfortable with it.

The old girl began overheating this morning, quickly got steamy inside the car and forced me to pull over, then left a wet spot on the carpet... Not that girl! :slap: Anyway sounds like the dreaded heater matrix leak has struck again! Will need to do a quicky matrix bypass till I have time to rip out the dash and replace the matrix. Took a look at the back of the engine and spotted one of the heater hoses but not sure where the second one enters the bulkhead. Did a search but cant seem to find a pic showing the second line, can anyone help?

Not a chance bud, too much fun messing with TT's!!! :tongue: No big brake setup, senors cant be dirty but (see below)... Gaz, you may be on the right track. I was getting an intermittent ABS warning light for about a month. While I was tracking this problem I noticed my far side front wheel bearing was shagged. When I replaced the right hub assembly (easier than replacing the bearing) I noticed that the wheel sensor had come into contact with the gear at some point and chipped out a piece of it. I cleaned it up and reinstalled it and the ABS light never came on again. I will try replacing the sensor unless someone has a better idea.

My 300ZX has developed an odd problem with the ABS. Everytime I come to a stop the ABS kicks in just as I slow to about 2 miles/hour, I can hear it whirring away behind the drivers seat. It's like the ECU senses the wheels are coming to a stop but doesn't sense that I'm already at a very low speed. No warning lights are showing. This used to happen on very rare ocasions but now happens every time I stop. I have bled the fluid at the ABS unit and no air was present. I've also checked the LED on the ECU and no error codes. Any ideas?
