I hate the way this country is turning :mad: Anyone remember the case where the burglar fell through the skylight of the house he was about to rampage - and sued. Or the one where another burglar left his victim's house through the sidedoor into the garage, and got locked in cos the garage mechanism had broken. He sued too. I'm soory but theres no way you should have to make your house "safe" for intruders! The buckle end of the headmasters belt never did me any harm, long term anyway ;) Pete

Good plan, you reckon they'd budge by £600-£1000 (correct me if I'm way wrong) on a five grand car though? I suppose it would be good piece of mind, and any faults discovered by the (independent) mechanics would hopefully be covered by warranty. Maybe a bit optimistic? Cheers mate Pete

Hi There seem to be a lot of Zeds for sale in the autotrader etc with 58-60K miles, from traders. I've emailed and asked about whether they've had the 60k service, and none have - what chances do you reckon I have of them throwing the service in? I gather it's a biggie. I'm avoiding everything at the moment without a service history. Has anyone had experience of this sort of thing? Any good stories with dealers? Cheers Pete

Does anyone know anyone with either a Saxo or a Focus (or both!?) :) If so I'm trying to sell 2 numberplates S4XOP and P70CUS. Had them both up for sale in the usual places for £1000 each, but had nothing but timewasters and crank calls :mad: I just want to get rid of 'em now, so I'd let the Saxo one go for £750 and the Focus one for £500. :confused: Fees are paid etc. Hopefully someone's got a mate who might want one? Agree about the poofs, but only in the top divisions. Non-league is a different game tho, much more grit and determination, less poncing about worrying about what conditioner you've advertised today.
