The Ford Probe went from slightly cool and trendy to outdated and nafflooking in record time IMO. People suggested that I held off getting my Zed and get a Probe instead :rolleyes: WTF??! I dont think you even need a speedo to pass the MOT, nevermind whether it's in kph/mph, I could be wrong but I remember it from my driving theory test ;) My import's speedo is in kph - its defo not a requirement to change it over. Also my rear fog is wired into the inner brake lights - much tidier than a light hanging from the rear bumper. I think the foglight dash switch has to light up too, to pass. Pete

Fitting a performance chip doesn't have much effect on its own - you need to fit it in conjunction with boost jets or a boost controller. Do a search... HTH Pete

Yeah its an auto :D - A cack auto that cant make its non-existent mind up when to change gear. Plus it redlines at 4000rpm :confused: Got a lift home sorted :) - plus it means I can drive the Zed tomorrow - shame :D

My oh so reliable daily driver (Fiesta) has let me down again. The battery died the other day a mile from home - so the missus had to tow me home - not nice :eek: Bought a new 'un and it was fine. Now the bloody coolant reservoir cap has DISAPPEARED - dunno how it happened - just overheated at lunchtime and I lifted the bonnet and it was gone :confused: . I've rung around the Ford, Halfords etc places within a couple of miles and no-one can get one. Anyone going towards Daventry from Leamington? :D No? Oh bugger. Fords are cack. Rant over Pete
