  3. Evening! Having just renewed my insurance (Tescos...) - I now have to get a tracker fitted. Does anyone know anywhere who supplies and fits a decent, cheap hopefully :), insurance approved tracker, thats not too far from the Midlands to travel to. Tescos recommended 'RAC Trackstar', and 'Tracker' systems, amongst others. Much appreciated :) Pete
  4. The brake one? Zedworld do them for £45 inc fitting, its on the site in the brakes section :) Pete

  6. Hello! I've spent ages looking and 'phoning round all the places near me to find MIG welding tips, and either they dont stock them, they wont sell them or they only have eg 0.6 or 0.8mm. Does anyone know of a mail order company that can get them out to me by Saturday? I'm looking for 1.0 - 1.5mm I think. Or better still - does anyone have any lying around they dont need :) ? Cheer folks, much appreciated :) Pete

  8. While Chris has his engine out, I hope you dont mind Chris but I've pinched your picture to point out that leak I was wittering on about - can anyone confirm what it is and whether it is what we thought it was, further up the thread? Cheers folks and ChrisC :) Pete
  9. Wind the window down fully before you start, it's much easier. Most of the screws are pretty obvious and are visible. The only one that isn't is the one/two under the "carpet" in the handle (the one you use to shut the door, not open it ;) ) on the driv door. The door handle just pops out with some persuasion, as does the elec window insert. If its an import you'll first of all have to remove the seatbelt - there's a 2p sized circle on the outside of the door, under there is a phillips head screw - mind you dont drop it into the door. Use a magnetic screwdriver if possible. Then there a large nut under the plastic cover (which clips off easily) at the top of the seatbelt. It's pretty tight. Also - there's 2 heavy duty screws under the B-pillar cover holding the door card onto the door - take these off before the other door card screws then it wiggles around a bit making the rest easier. The actual door cards, when all screws are removed and seatbelt untangled ;) , pull off from the bottom then lift the rubber out of the window seal. Refitting is the reverse of removal - give the cards a bang with your fist to pop the clips back in before screwing all the screws back in. I'm sure there's a proper write up somewhere but I got carried away cos I did this recently, twice ;) HTH Pete
  10. He he - I'll have to use the "found it by accident love..." approach myself :D:D:D I need a new rad after cracking the flimsy plastic endtank hose support, so I'll give them a go :) Might email them first to see what their endtanks are made of... Cheers Pete
