love that front bumper needs some side skirts to match tho lol. think Zedworld charge £1500 to replace the turbos and i think its the same price for a new engine replacement.

so you reconnected up all the old system, vacuum pipes etc all been put back to standard. does that ecu chip require a boost controller? is it worth putting the boost controller back onto the vehicle? just an idea to try

what set up you running? regards to boost controller etc

im sure the brake system (sbc system) on the W211 mercedes benz E-class, the line pressure is about 140 bar - 2000 psi

just checked and its coming from the egr valve going to that metal pipe, i then lose it under the plenum but reappears out the back then i think it goes to the egr valve. i did notice that the green and red lines on the PRVR valve was the wrong way round!!! would this cause any problems?

anyone know where it goes? going to check all the pipe work now against the above pic so ill let you know if i get any left over lol

This is one tool i just dont have and always seem to need when doing jobs on the Zed. Been looking for a while for one and just wandering which ones you guys have. I know dremel is a brand name but is there others any good out there. Would like one with a wide range of uses, cheap replacement parts and cordless.

1st. Looks back of engine VVTC 2nd. Knock sensor plug, looks loom plug. 3rd. wiring plug for o/s vvtc 4th. looks like the knock sensor itself

looking good, i always think the orange indicators look dated

i thought that would created the turbo to stall if you delete the recircs

its defo got suction, just dont know what goes to it, i need to chase all those lines to make sure they are connected, found one once blocked off with a screw

After finding the new vacuum line picture, which one should got to this pipe on the o/s of the engine?? Regards Andy

if i ever took mine to the scrappage scheme i would strip it first and take it there on a trailer. aslong as its got 3 months mot left. we have had a clio come in on its discs lol

Just sitting here wandering how many zeds do you think are left in the country? There is always a Zed being broken and scrapped, and i hope none have gone to this scrappage scheme!!! I know Zeds are still being imported but if there is less in circulation that means prices should go up lol

oh yeah and its only £35 tax a year.

i used to use the Z when i first brought her but now i got myself a fiesta 1.4 diesel because i can park it anywhere and i dont care lol. Its a bit on the slow side but just got 350miles to £28 of diesel (about 60+ mpg), the Z over the last 2 years has covered 3000miles.
