  1. I havent seen this before, but my girlfriend found this. The weather is shite, the zed isnt going anywhere today. So a few stellas and baileys later trying to find stupid stuff on youtube. still giggling, funny as fook. please add some others. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=mKVLEiE2Qs4&feature=related
  2. I use the super resin polish and then a coat of ultra deep shine, with one of autoglyms cloths, does the biz on Black zeds. Good for removing small scratches. Its just my opinion. Others use Meguire's stuff.
  3. Great to see it on the road Chris, will bring its UK brother over on tues, and get some pics. If weather is good, gotta be an excuse for a little drive out for a beer. Stu
  4. Try and get hold of a late UK spec TT manual, they are the best ones, and if black even better. But which ever zed you get, they are all the same, best looking motor, and for what they have to offer. No competition............................... Gotta love em......
  5. Trying to locate why im in safety mode, ive got a UK TT manual, only boosting to 7psi.? Why would this be? and what cause's it? ive had the det sensor by passed. 2nd'ly Went to do an ecu check to locate the probs, and the ecu has no potentiometer screw??? Is there another way of reading this ecu? Ive got a spare ecu on my Jap TT auto. i understand that an auto can be put into and manual but not vicer vercer, if i used the jap one then it will be limited as the UK is not, but could at least show me what errors there are. Any help, much appreciated. Stu
  6. Good on you Chris, Hope mum and baby are doing well. Will pop over and bring some pride and flowers. Best wishes for you all. Stu
  7. Cheers mate, i will make the odd phone call on tuesday to locate, if not i will pm you and take it from there. Cheers Stu
  8. This is the spolier on my zed, have just found out that the brake light is no longer working, upon closer checking water has got into it and rusted the led board. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what spolier it is and whether i can source a new brake led bit. Cheers Stu
  9. I get of early from work, so i think, get the tyres that came with my refurbed Gewalt 18" split rims fitted. Off i go, only to find one has a split in the wall and the other has a puncture. So i decide to buy a new set of tyres (as im already there) for both fronts All happy. So a wad of cash later i zoom home to fit them, all excited. The jack decides it dosent want to pump up as ive left it outside too long and its got rusty. but after a bit of the usual hitting with a hammer and calling it all the names under the sun it works. Take old wheels off, only to find the new fookers hit the calipers, as its clear they need some spacers.:headvswal They look soooooooooooo good.!!!!!!! Walk in doors to get a beer to calm down and the fooking dog has been on his usual bin dinner take out, and eaten some of its contents, and decided to throw it up all over the hallway...:nelson: as im cleaning the mess up, the ex missus rings and asks for some more cash for the kids to buy lunch boxes, ARE YOU FOOKING KIDDING ME!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come on god, bring it on.............................................. Sorry, rant over!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. The new series is on, on just started, and these people think they can sing, lol Its so much better being on the Stella ha ha ha This is some funny stuff.............
  11. I got back yesterday, weather pants, surf surperb, and the fishing of the beach was good. Pasties huge and the scrumpy was mind blowing, especially if mixed with Stella and a few brandy's. :D
  12. Dan, ive just got back from a week in Padstow, the weather was crap, the roads were full of mud, but the surf was mental, me and the kids were in it on wednesday in the gale force winds, im a very good swimmer but 8-9' waves are something else. It was howling in off constantine bay. Stu
  13. Thinking ive got a small hissing noise leak, ive searched on here and have made a very cheap DIY one. 1. Coffee jar lid from i think it was either nescafe or iceland. drill 8mm hole in. 2. cut valve from old bike tyre tube push the valve through the drilled hole, quite tight but will give good seal. Make sure to go in from the top of the lid as the base will make it easier to remove. Undo clip that holds the MAF housing, and squeeze in, perfect fit, Took me less than five mins to make and at a cost of nothing. Have only tried with foot pump at the mo, but have found the leak already. If using a pressure line i will see if the valve has a good seal. Stu
  14. Dont you ever touch my zed either!!!
  15. Dont you ever touch my zed!!!!! Cool pics mate
  16. Firstly sounds like you have a small boost leak, have you taken any pipes of recently, if so check them. If not, make up a leak detector (search on this forum) only takes a little hose of to cause one. 2nd. I had high revs a couple of weeks back upto just under 2k, checked the temp sensor on the top hard water pipe and found to be all green and crud. cleaned with some ambersol contact cleaner and a very small file, also did the smaller temp sensor and the maf. HAsnt done it since and ticks over lovely. Stu
  17. Can you get a small drill, just less than the size of the thread, try and drill it out. Or just enough to get a start for a centre punch on it, then hammer it out. Once out get a new m8 or m10 bolt, the type with a flat head and square under the flat bit. Or is there enough thread to get a nut on the bolt left?
  18. Ive just driven back from my ladies, on a 40mph road, doing exactly 40. As cameras about. The road im on is the main road, so cars coming form either side roads would need to stop and then turn onto the main road. Literally 20ft before the left road, a stupid little p***k on a 125 crosser with L plates, just blasted straight across the front of the zed over the main road and carried on the road to my right. I didnt even have a chance to break, how the hell i didnt whack him, i must have missed him by less than a foot!!!!! F***ing MADMAN. Im still shaking........... Its youngsters like this that will definately become a statistic.
  19. Now im confused, have UK fog lights on front, turn on lights, sidelight in foglight comes on. Full beam same as above Turn on foglights, ok on rear but no change to front still only sidelights, checked the bulbs, two in each lamp and are working fine, Do UK zeds have front fog lights, or are they just as driving lights (sidelights in foglights) How can i wire them up so that the sidelight part is the same as it is now, but to be able to use the main bulb of the foglights when putting fogs on? Sounds confusing reading it back. sorry Or do i have jap fogs? :headvswal:headvswal
  20. Having located a broken plug on my det sensor(its been bypassed), After trawling ebay and the traders, needed to fix it asap. Off down the local scrap yard, and hey presto, found a P reg Micra, the rad fan plug is identical to what i need, so after a few snips with pliers, i borrowed a few more around the engine bay to keep as spares, ive got various plugs and connectors that suit the zed ones all off a micra, plus the odd relay, Then the icing on the cake, on my UK zed the front Nissan badge was shabby and chrome plastic, but the one on the Micra is solid metal and like brand new. Plus the rad cap was worth taking too. After my findings, took to the shop and showed the guy one of the connectors, Bargain £2. Walked away very happy. Not too many zeds in scrapyards but loads of Micras.........
  21. HAve a good day mate, drink lots and have fun........
