I just undid the allen key bolts near the diff x 6 and the prop just pulls from back of gearbox, came of in one piece and laid on the ground. Then plug the rear of the box, i used a rubber glove and elastic band, kept fluid from pouring over the drive.

I agree with nick, very tidy zed, advertise it about £3500 but expect to get just over 3.

Spacers arrived today via driftworks. (cheers funkysi, old post) got rubber for front and the back will be done weekend. Car mad, not that hard to do, just a bit of patience and a hair dryer. A few coats of primer, then on more coats of plasticote chrome. Finish is not bad, when i tried to lacquer it, the plasticote reacted to it and went super dull. will see how they last and if not try another route, but they are shinny. Stu

I can put £25 in the zed and go to my girlfriends in Brighton with no speeding, on way home and the roads are clear give it some welly and by the time i get home the petrol light is on. There and back is no more than 30 miles. No idea what the mpg is, but i know my O2 sensors are shagged that will make it drink more. Either way its worth every penny. I know some people pay alot more to get certain types of thrill to put a smile on yer face, if you know what i mean.:slap: lol

In the last two weeks, ive sorted and done some mods. New refurbed 18" Gewalt split rims and tyres, just waiting for 25mm spacers. Fitted my jap bumper to the UK TT, as the crud that was on there is now gone (veilside C1 replica, free to collector) New pads front and back. Sorted the det sonsor out and now running full chat. Sprayed up headlights to chrome effect (first attempt but ok) Still to do. New leather seats, as existing is pants. Get the polished plenium in and clean up the bay. a few pics

AS YOU CAN SEE IT GIVES A WHOLE NEW LOOK TO THE NISSAN 300ZX. Yup, it takes away the style and aggresion given to the zed and makes it look like a calibra with a Nova twat boidykit No my cup of tea........

I get home and after banging my head against the wall with the lights. Decide to start on the stellas. Then Sussex Bills Turns up, after the advice i gave him re his Hicas level, in his zed, very clean grey one, Clean a few connectors to try and sort the revving out and some other advice. Seems ok now. Then after he leaves, Atlast, Sean turns up in his white N/a. A coffee and zed chat later. Two more fellow zedders and all Sussex boys................... I think they have got the zed bug. Good to see you guys, youre more than welcome at mine, if i p*** the neighbours off, thats there fault for letting me move in..lol

Having checked all fuses incl the footwell, replaced both left and right headlamp relays (taken of my jap, which were working) and its still the same, what are the chances of the light pod on dash is fooking about. Someone please shed some light on this, as ive got a short crewcut most of the time and this is going to make me go bald....................................

Just when ive finally got it all working, went to take the dog out just now, and noticed that my paassenger full beam light is on.??????????? If i turn ignition on, or off the bloody light is still on. Have done the usual hitting the pod, and wiggle the indicator stalk, but nothing. Had to disconnect the battery so its off for now. Why is its messing about and how can i sort it. Stu

Nope he is very lucky if this is the case, as ive got a mint Auto TT box just waiting to be be taken of my Jap Zed, When i can get th etime to start breaking it.. Plus he lives less than a minute from me. Stu

Hey mate, glad to be able to give you a tow. You have entered a world of advice on here, trust me you will have the zed bug. Nice zed and sounds lovely, we will sort your prob out no worries. The offer still stands to assist. luckily im just round the corner (about 250 mtrs) Post up the problem and the wealth of knowledge will help out. They are a good bunch.....
