police car hit mine
Sean, you need to call me re this, Was he in a police car at the time? if so he should have called it in as a POLAC, police accident, basically either traffic officers will attend or at least a higher ranking officer. Just to cover himself and you. if you were not hurt in this then dont go down the line of an injury claim, as it will cause all manner of poo your way.........

Rebuilding engine's
Ive rebulit Lotus Sunbeam, RS 2000 x 2, rover engines and a few others. When i did my TT zed, it looked very very awkward, but as long as you list the bits your removing. i put parts in clear plastic bags with all nuts and bits. And took plenty of pics. Great feeling when you have done it yourself and it works.

Sushi sunday at Goodwood.
Cheers Nick32 for posting my pain, :headvswal:headvswal the story behind it is. We were doing fireworks last night with my family. We have a scale model of a Cannon of HMS Victory, usually we put 1 or 2 shots of blackpowder in the barrel and a bit as a fuse, stuff a load of tissue in the end to get the pressure and light. Big bang..............If a missle of type is used it will go a very very long way.(ballbearing) But last night we put 6 or 7 shots of powder in. Bet you cant guess who lit the fooking thing. lol Luckily my eyes are intacked, but having your head hit back red hot gunpowder at 100mph that goes in like splinters, Trust me it hurts like hell. Oh well a good giggle for all who saw it today.........:xxx:lol

Starter motor advice
Thanks Bud............................Knew someone like you was clever to help me out......

ive washed one
Alan, you never cease to amaze me with the crap you have to deal with with poxy tennants. We must of come from the same school, as our tennants (housing association) always winge about wanting everything done when they want it, well go out and get work you lazy git, and clean your house up. Did a boiler replacement last week and the woman said she had cleaned up a bit to help us out, dont know how she did it, as we never saw a hoover or anything to clean it. Smell of urine everywhere. 11 cats, none of which ever went out for a p**s, but they used the carpets to shat on............. SCUMBAGS......................

steam everywhere
Could have? i had been losing water from zed for weeks, couldnt locate for ages, until one day i noticed one of the water hoses had a pin hole in, not enough to show when cold, but when engine was hot it only came out as steam. Worth topping system up and make sure no air , when its up to temp, start searching, once you can find out where steam is from, then should be ok to fix. I would nt drive it too hard for the mo.
-
steam everywhere
Sounds like an air lock or the system has killed a pipe. have u done any work on it recently?

Injector harneses cleaning
I cleaned mine with a set of very small files (cost me £3 from a cheap shop) and a can of Ambersol - contact cleaner (£3) Ive done most of the electrical connections in the bay with this stuff, and all has worked. Just take your time getting the connectors off, as they are brittle and you probably have to replace a few.
