usually higher insurance

Smaller Standard rear wheels

Speedo reads in KPH rather than MPH

Oil pressure and Boost guage read in some other format (not sure) to the normal PSI

No rear fog lights

UK vairants come with an oil cooler

-Anything else im sure somebody will add

But on there side:

They dont rust as easily

They have front foglights

They are way cooler

They can come in NA format and SWB(dont quote)

-Anything else im sure somebody will add

Smaller Standard rear wheels

Speedo reads in KPH rather than MPH - True, but easily converted, mine already was

Oil pressure and Boost guage read in some other format (not sure) to the normal PSI - mm/Hg or millimetres of mercury

No rear fog lights - You have to add one for MOT

UK vairants come with an oil cooler - If the oil cooler is the little rad in front of the main one with a Nismo sticker on it - mine has one too!

-Anything else im sure somebody will add

But on there side:

They dont rust as easily - galvanised bodies I think

They have front foglights

They are way cooler

They can come in NA format and SWB(dont quote)

Hope this helps!

Normally Aspirated (no turbos). All the best Zeds are NA's :wack:

*ducks behind the sofa in anticipation of large ammounts of abuse*

:slap: :slap: :slap: :slap: :slap:

Seriously though, N/A is exactly what was said by the above idiot :x:   Its a none turbo, and its rubbish compared to the twin turbos :x:

oh i forgot,

Imports have folding mirrors!

Normally aspirated cars have no turbos but usually rev higher than Turbos but

with the zed, its a no contest situation. The twin turbo Zed is much better car, not so much for the obvious speed issue, but for all round drivability.

It's better it goes as well as it looks eh...

UK market was only available as 2+2(LWB) Twin Turbo Targa

Import market had available :

2+2(LWB), 2+0(SWB)

Twin Turbo, Non Turbo

Targa, Slicktop(SWB only)

and Convertible(NA only)

Imports rust just as easily as UK cars, bodys are the same. - But where a UK car has been subjected to 15 yrs of Salty winter roads most are getting pretty rotten (unless already repaired or had dry-weather use only and a garage most their life).

Imports come over looking like new underneath with not so much as even a hint of surface rust ! They do start rusting like Uk cars after being here for several years though, got to keep an eye on them.

UK and Import are essentially the same cars (dependent on trim/version differences ofcourse) but they differ in regional specification. As mentioned UK cars have bigger oil coolers and other minor changes....Imports usually benefit form Lower mileage, Better underbody condition and more choices in which version you want.

If its a 2+2 Twin turbo your after then no reason to deliberatly look for one over the other (although young drivers can find UK's cheaper to insure). If your after any other version then its Import only.
