Stella, its got to be worth that and some, a crossmember should be no more than £80 from a scrappie, with the hire of an engine hoist at £15-20. And getting mucky. Dont be another zed that is removed from the world. I cant talk, as ive got my jap TT sitting there waiting to be broken, just havent had the time at the mo.

Does anyone have any pics or know another members car with Chromed headlights on a Black zed. Im toying with the idea of buying the 99 spec inserts and HID's of DTA, Ive seen them done on zx eyes and a few others, but cant find anyone with a black zed. Ive pretty much made up my mind, but need to just make sure, Cheers in advance Stu

Been chatting about a Sussex zed meet, to do on either sunday Oct 12th or 19th. One idea is Boxhill to Brighton run, or a meet at Bolney. Any other suggestions, the more the merrier. I have pm'd a few Sussex zeds, but as its fairly central, Would be great to see if we can get some Surrey, Hamps, Essex and kent too. All are welcome, post up any ideas of other locations and see if we can get a good meet before the weather sets in. Stu

Thats superb, dam it locks on well quick, would love one to guard the zed after ive washed it, poxy seagulls. Oh there's a nice just polished black zed, lets bomb it........... As work as a plumber come you name it i do it engineer for a very large housing association, we have been busier than ever, as our company buys of local authorities who havent got much cash or people who are in trouble Had 4 pay rises this year alone, and getting new van in 3 weeks, trust me not enough hours in the day to complete the work already. Find a nice unused airfield, that is 3 miles long and 1/4 wide, put 3 zeds on it and have some fun. Ask Crotchrocket for proof..............lol Seriously get used to it, drive in all weather conditions, trust me in the dry they are a bit sliddy, but try the wet and its a whole differnt ball game.

Just driven past you parked up in Roundstone Drive, East Preston, waited for a while, even revved up, but no sign. Very local to me.

Since i got my UK TT Manual, i always thought it was quick, having got used to it, i couldnt understand why it would only boost to 7psi. However today this has all changed. It started when i was reading a thread about a det bypass, having checked the resistor it was dead as a dodo. So i got hold of 5 x 1Mohm ones. (as spares) I disconnected the battery to reset the ecu, and did the bypass and an oil change and filter, After connecting it all back up, i noticed on the boost pipes, some jubilee clips, so i investigated to find that i have boost jets too. :hyper: One of which was blocked, after cleaning and checking it all. Started the engine to check the oil, and it sounds completely differnt to before. No hissing if that makes sense. Out for a drive, floor it and what the hell as happend to my zed.......... Now it boosts all the way up, it pulls like a total animal and works so much better. Cant believe its that quick....... Fooks sake ive never had to change gear so fast, it has gone from a beast ( so i thought ) to a complete and utter maniac. The noise from the BOV's is insane, the turbos sound way better and the zed is now scarey. :bow::bow: Stu

Ive just picked up 5 of these from a local electronics place for 50p...... No idea if it works as resetting ecu at the mo, if it does, i will send you one FOC. See thats me, nice guy ( or if your my ex wife that screws around then im not that nice, but its your fault) I will let you know STu

Mate i wish you had come, as i was going to pick your brain re led light in my spolier. Plus ive never met you, but theres always other times. a few others are doing the Sushi sunday at Goodwood early November.
