  4. It connects to the exhausts, have you got an uprated system.?
  5. Check the mass air flow meter, if its damp it dosent like it, mine did this for ages in the wet, make sure you have the plastic guard inside the bumper.
  6. Having a major tidy up at the mo, as girlfriend is moving in this weekend, and party the next. Sorting my dvd's and cd's out, and i found this cd. This was a meet we did on Sunday 20th Aug 2006, from Boxhill to Brighton between SE/SC regions. It was my first ever zed meet, loads of zeds snaking down the road and following me in my plumbing van, (as i killed my 1st zed in France a few weeks before messing about with an Aston) the fun i had had trying to keep up with the rest of you, nearly losing it bigtime on a curve on the A24 and all the zed drivers thinking he's going to lose it. all going differnt ways around roundabouts, agro from the police, and doing my best to get Jason (the beast) off a ticket, and meeting Joley P and loads of others. We were all playing this cd on route then a few beers at Brighton. Since then ive done a few more meets, got to know some cracking charactors and had loads of fun, Come on summer, get warm so we can get the roofs off and do some more. Stu
  7. I at first reused the original stuff, but found a leak, then i tried some roof and gutter sealant from a local plumbers merchant. Very flexible, black, like silcone but can be undone but very water resistant.
  8. Thats not fair, he's got insider knowledge
  9. Egr / service / lifters = 18 hours? £3100, would not rev as timing well out.
  10. Fantastic, fooking supreb Gaz, just like it.............LOL:bow:
  11. I work for a large housing assoc and am sort of a multi taskerm but today was priceless. I turn up at a house to replace 4 x 6x6 fence panels. Out i go to the garden and the family say "u ok with dogs" no worries, in the garden is a huge black St bernard called Dave, covered in slobber, he lets me in the garden and ive met him before, after doing 2 of the panels, get to the third only to find that something is jammed underneath it in the mud, i discover a large pink thing (the type from Ann Summers) having a chuckle to myself, the family in the house are unaware. I kick it out of the way as im not touching it, into the next door garden. Dave is snoozing on the patio. Go to my van to get the first fence panel, back to the garden only to find Dave is now playing with a new toy that he has found next door. I stand laughing and the woman owner comes out, " How you getting on, want a tea?" i reply "im fine but, i think Dave's got something he shoudlnt" She looks in horror at Dave, i keep on laughing even more, the husband comes out to start laughing at his dog. The woman is fighting with Dave to let go, but he wont, lots of growling, shouting and swearing, husband wetting himself, i can carry on, because of the mayhem, eventually the woman gives up and shouts at Dave " fook you then, you stupid bas***d, hope you choke on it. Priceless.........

  19. Just now, i was sitting at home having a beer with girlfriend and my daughter, I hear a serious rumble come past my house and stop, so i wonder what it was and look out, A good friend of mine Steve, has bought a new toy to replace his soon to be sold impul zed. A fully tuned Gem Racing Noble M12 GTO, so of out for a little drive, fook i thought the zed was quick, but this is a total animal, twin turbo sitting behind your head the noise is outstanding, and very very quick. Spins wheels in most gears. Will get some pics tomorrow with his and my zed, and the Noble. Wow, lucky git.
  20. Thats a good price Chris, he dosent do clutches on zeds?
  21. Just been looking a different thread involving an Austin all agro and it got me thinking, whats the worst car you had owned??? Mine has got to be a D reg red Seat Ibiza 1.5GLX (system porche) in my late teens whilst i was driving around Hanger lane on the A40 in London, drove past a stationery police car waiting at the lights and my passenger door opened for no apparent reason and smacked the front of the boys in blue. I stopped and they had a small chat with me, one bald tyre, faulty headlight and the copper tested it on the side of the road, and snapped the handbrake. Gave me 3 points just for good measure.:mac1: Fooking thing was worse than a skip, as they are worth money as scrap. Who else has had what?
  22. LOL, the memories, an old girlfriend had one just the same, sitting in traffic on Hammersmith Bridge, and it caught fire. she walked away and left it.:hyper:
