Urgent advice needed re engine
if you are trying to get the engine to match to the mounts, then i would say that a pipe / hose is getting in the way on the passngers side, near the manifolds / tubs.

Dazvert zed stores
wow daz, and i thought my garage was a zed spares dept, with an overflow storage area in the kitchen and the loft, but your garage is a different level. Nice to be in a position if you need a spare you have it, just a case of finding it, thats when the fun starts. Stockpile zed spares, will be worth something one day.................

clayed before and after
AL, looks great mate, did you clay the whole car? ive found using the meguirs clay and detailer gets the best results, then every other wash, a coat of autoglym super resin, then a coat of meguirs gold class, makes dark cars really deep and sine. Good work bud.

How to top up coolant ?
Tank, if you popping over to mine tomorrow i will look at it for you. To start with, jack the the front of the car up. take off rad cap and bleed valve, start engine and turn on heater to full pelt. when the engine gets up to temp, and shows in the middle of the standard temp gauge, make sure the heaters are blowing full hot all the time, if anytime it goes cold, that is air passing throught the system. a6t the the same time keep topping up the rad, a bit at a time and watching the bleed valve. when it is all water and the temp is constant. Turn off and and replace valve and cap. let it cool. then check. easy when done a few times.

How do you work on your engine .....
One of the joys of owning a zed. ive found the more your work on it, the stronger your back becomes, but at times you need to be a contortionist, e.g. adjusting the clutch pedal switch under the dashboard is one of the worst. if its not your back, then you should do a clutch yourself, as its bonkers, lost so much knuckle skin........................... zeds, they will always try you.............

Another perspex strip thread.
The perspex strip on my uk was ok but quite scratched, until an hour ago, after trying to remove really delicatly, got to the last blue clip and CRACK. So go to remove my spare with break light of my jap breaker. This already was cracked. I now have 2 x rear perspex strips, one with brake light and the without. Both have split to the right of the light, in a vertical crack. a very clean break, when put together, all that is visible is a line, looks like a hair, its that thin does anyone know if the can be bonded back together, or glued with heat. I know Carmad may be looking at mocking one up. These are super fragile, but i was being careful, obviously not enough.............. Any thoughts
