As ive had my zed for nearly two years now, and its been ill for most of that time. Ive now got the cash to sort it. As i was giving it a little hoover in the boot, i lifted up the carpet to find under the grey foam to the left two polythene bags containing you guess it, the original targa bags still in wrapping, they are 100% like new, then to put the icing on the cake, under the space saver wheel (which looks like its never touched the road) i find the original fairlady Z owners handbook, in Japanese though, only thing it has the lower right corner slightly turned up, otherwise near perfect condition. Well chuffed, just need to get the Nissan fire extinguisher now and it will be like when it was made.  Happy days

THings are looking better.
As ive been short of a bit of cash since my now ex wife took it all, things have been a bit hard on the cash front. Until now, i was left a rare clock by my dad when he died, which i was meant to have when my mum leaves this world, anyway a decision was made and its just sold in auction at well over the estimate, once ive paid my debts, i will have a fair bit of cash spare. Do i buy a decent manual zed or go down the skyline route, as only something jap will do. My current zed is going to hopsital in the new year for a major op. But i want a manual one too or a skyline to be be on the drive aswell. I love the zeds, but the skyline's are calling me too. Help and advice please Stu.

Police Pay - Your opinions
Fully agree mate, as you know im ex job, and i understand the crap you have to put up with, the police pay should reflect inflation plus some more. Why is it you have to deal with the same arseholes, who clearly dont work or never will, and when you arrest them they state "i pay your wages" Yeah right, why dosent the government reduce these peoples benefits if they do crime and plough it back to the people who have to spend ages getting them to court. Total waste of time. The job was getting harder and harder to do when i was in it, but from talking to mates who are still in, its far worse now, so why dosent the poxy government pay the people the right money for doing it then. screeding a floor
Try Builder centre or Travis Perkins, they do the stuff in 25kgs bags, will also need a decent drill with paddle, and a large bucket to mix it in, the price of the 25kgs stuff should work out cheaper than buying 2 x 12.5 bags.

screeding a floor
WHat type of floor are you putting onto the screed? is the floor subject to any wet conditions or heat or cold? if the variation is 12mm to 30mm, ive done floors of that size with latex self leveling compound, worked no probs. If thats the drop from one side to the other, you could use a wet cement mix of say 3/1 or even 2/1, but this would stand a chance of cracking over time. For the agro, i would take up the floor, start again and either put in a screed floor of say 4-6" or with joist's and new boards. Stu

Why are they so many ****ers out there ??
Total WA**ers, i would love to see someone do that, i would have no worries, going to town on them with a blowtorch and pair of molegrips. Fine if you want to pick on humans, then your a twat, pick on an animal, i hope it rips your fooking eyes out, and urinates on you. Hope the kitty is ok.

WOW that was way too close!!!
Im a bit accident prone, but have usually got away with it. But today was way too close a miss for me. Whilst at work, go to my van and get out an adjustible hole cutter, basically has a drill as the centre and a metal arm that can be moved to cut a perfect hole in wood, plaster etc. as i put the cutter in the chuck of my cordless drill, just tightening up the safety guard, the drill slips onto the tool box, A MILLION to one chance, the button you press to run the drill, hits the top of a screwdriver and WALLOP, the drill kicks into full speed and decides to have a go at my thumb too. I grab hold of my thumb and say words like, ouch and dash that hurt. As inspect to see how bad it is, i open up the cut and see my thumb bone. NOT GOOD STUPOT, Off to hopsital, and 5 stiches later and a tetnus. My fooking thumb looks like something out of atom and jerry cartoon. Nurse said if it was 10mm further, it would be bye bye thumb. And its on my left hand.................... :hurl:
