  4. Please help. My baby is sick. Was on way into work today, got nice new clutch and flywhhel thanks to Smithy and was going to fit them, but on way had to call the RAC. Whilst overtaking on dual carriage way suddenly got massive lack of power. Thought the turbos had gone into safe mode but it seems a bit more. After coasting down the hill, defo lack of power, got to roundabout and the engine cut out. Started no problem but the engine will not keep running. After revving to about 3000rpm managed to pull away and head up next hill. Thinking it just lack of power, start going up hill and notice loads of black smoke coming out of exhaust. First I thought o shit the car is on fire but then the power really dropped and ended up doing about 10mph up the hill. Decided to stop then and call the RAC. Once the RAC arrived we decided together that the engine is massively overfuelling and will only runwhen I only just touch the throttle, any more and it cuts out. Managed to get the car to my work but now needs repairing. Done a ECU fault check and code 55 so that is all clear. Anyone got any ideas atall? really appreciate it.

  16. Hi, got some nice side skirts to fit during the cold winter months but just wandering what the best way to do this is. They come with indent to rivet or screw into the sills but that means drilling holes through the sill, which I didn't think was very goog idea. My question is will they hold ok with just bonding glue or do they really need riveting, what has everyone else done? Pics will follow when the kit is all on and sprayed (prob June!). :hyper:
