Got 2 sets of pads to put in my Z. Is ceramic or carbon kevlar pads the best?

Has anyone had a problem with interference noise on their radio. was going to fit a supressor to the alternator but then I realised how hard a job it would be. any better ideas how to fix?

Can someone please tell me the torque settings for the brake calipers to fix on as I'm half way through fitting larger discs and don't want to mess them up. ta.

Been trying to measure the g-force when I accelerate with my gtech pro. Anyone got one and tried playing around? What is the max you can get. I was going to give up modding car when I got to 1g but can only get 0.8 at moment, might have to get nitrous.

Why do we not have a link on each others profiles to our rides? I seem to have problems finding certain peoples rides.

Hi all, After fitting new clutch and flywheel last week the biting point has completely moved. I did adjust it on the clutch pedal but it has since moved back - right up the top. My question is can you actually adjust the biting point or will it keep moving back to where it wants? Thanks, Paul.

Why not get new seats instead? The stock ones weigh alot.

I remember doing these now, they right pain in arse. ended up drilling them out bit by bit. the garage at top of road would press the new ones in incase they split them so had to do it myself with vice. so you can do but wouldn't recommend it.

Thanks for replies. Seats came from Belgium off ebay a while back but they perfect colour for the rest of trim, right pain in arse to fit though as couldn't find brackets to fit.

Just finally finished fitting the new clutch and flywhhel combo and replaced the clutch line to stainless. Can't seem to get all the air out though. I know there are 2 bleed poiunts but the dam thing still won't work. Any tips or advice on how to get the air out or could anything else be wrong.

Finally got round to paying for membership. can you please send me all the goodies and what is the difference between the stickers that go inside or outside the car? (beside the obvious)

I bought mine purely for the noise but since fitting the clutch suddenly started slipping, it did som,ething.

And the prize goes to Smithy. Where I had removed the recircs and blocked the large holes one of the stoppers had flown out. So advice is make sure they in very tight. Thanks for all help and Smithy your cheque is in post very soon. :hyper:

Done seal kit on mine a little while back. Make sure you tell Nissan dealer which model you have or you'll end up with the wrong one though. Cost about £70 for the kit I think and easy to change.

so what is the law on front plates as my new bumper has nowhere flat to put a 'normal size' plate and does anyone know what angle they have to be at?
