Hi Yewcheck, did you ever sort the fume smell? I have the same smell and it really makes my clothes smell when driving the car.

Hi everyone. I'm trying to get my 300 back on the road again but it has an intermittent fault with the electrics. Everything has worked fine up until the mot was due and now the complete middle of the car has no power to anything. I'm presuming its a cable or connector problem but I cannot find anything. The controls on the left hand side of the dash have stopped working - so that's the temp / heater controls, fan, wipers and washers but the problem continues down the centre console so includes the clock, cigarette lighter and the mirrors. Has anyone had anything similar or any ideas where to start looking. If anyone has a link to the fuse board translation that would also be a great help. Thanks.

Got it all insured again today, hooray, looking forward to the weekend cleaning and making sure she runs ok now.

After going to trax at weekend i ended up with the hicas warning light coming on after travelling about 30 miles. it cleared itself whilst we was there but then decided to come back on again after about 30miles on the way home. I remember that it did this before when i drove to Northampton. any ideas what could be the trouble or does my car just not like the A14? Cheers, Paul.

Got mot tommorrow and just found out the main beam on passengers side isn't working. Checked the bulb but it looks ok. Is there a fuse for just one side bulb? If not any other ideas? thanks.

Just got gearbox in and will be filling it up shortly. How much and what sort of oil do I need for manual gearbox? thanks.

Please help guys, For a few weeks now my z has started jumping out of first gear. But today it has got really bad and will not engage atall. The gear stick moves in exactly the same place but it just gives a grinding noise right near the end of the stroke. I'm now having to start of in second which is a bit of a pain. Any ideas?

It was changed on the last service which was just over a year ago but only about 3000 miles. Looks like i'm changing that this weekend.

Using dot 5.1 synthetic I think so thought it would have been ok.

Has anyone experienced their larger brakes fading? I had a not so nice experience as I was racing a motor bike the other day, came to a roundabout and the brakes decided to fade. They have never done this before, always thought they had been pretty cr#p but this convinced me. Luckily there were no cars coming & I got round no problem but had to stop all the larking around. I have got the 320 or 330mm large discs with the spacer on the calipers coupled with carbon pads. Do you think I need to upgrade the calipers now?

So you didn't manage to convince any proper jap car mags to attend. That might help persude some more people to attend.
