I have a large coolant leak at the front of my engine. I've had the car up on ramps and cant see where it's comin from. It's deffo not the head gaskets. I can see some coolant plastered on the front of the engine but not where it's dripping from. Ivan:mad: :confused: :eek:

Saw a BMW 840i the other night. Followed it slowly on the A46 roundabout on the east end of the western bypass and as soon as he got to the straight he nailed it! So i thought "right have some of this" so booted it and sailed past him and got upto a nice speed and looked back on the mirror and he was no-where to be seen in the traffic! Ace!!!!!! Ivan:D

I actually work at a tiv dealership and have driven a few and they are rapid!!!!!!!!! One of the peeps there went to the pod at the weekend and a standard tuscan did the quarter in low 11's! And it wasn't even an S!!!!:eek:

Well done to Simon you win! It was indeed the connectors. Took them off and sprayed a rust penetrant in them and scraped them with a screwdriver and it's cured!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D :D Ivan

Where are the injector connectors in relation to the coil pack connectors. I did think that this might be the case.

Vijay Checked the coil packs - thought it was that at first. Stuart It had a new PTU in September - could it really be gone so soon? I was under the impression that if the PTU went west it wouldn't start at all? Ivan:confused:

Mt beast has been running like a 2 stroke diesel tractor recently when warm and being very reluctant to accelerate and jerking. Very embarassing when you get into a race with a Almera on a motorway from 50mph in fifth and you lose! I've done the usual (checked tps, cleaned throttle bodies and temp shitch) but short of changing the plugs I am lost as to what is the cause. Oh yeah it's only on the right hand bank as you're sitting in the car as well. Ivan (very frustrated with lawnmowers!)

Exactly Stuart that's why I'm trying to find out how to turn it off.

Yeah mine doesn't lock the doors when on the move but I think it should because I can hear the door locks clunk and again when I turn the engine off.

Yeah that's what I thought. The alarm will arm when the keys are in but doesn't lock. I am not too bothered about the auto immobilisation but I think the alarm auto arming is a bit of a pest. But apparently you can turn the auto alarm arming off and leave the auto immobilisation on which is what I want to do.:D Ivan:rolleyes:

Hmmmm didn't think that a CAT 1 classification refers to an alarm which arms itself after 15 seconds. I don't mind the auto immobiliser but when at petrol stations, cleaning it the auto arming is a real pain as the slightest bit of movement/wind with the roof off can set it off.:mad: Ivan

Does anyone know how to turn the bl00dy auto arming off. I know it's one of the switches but which one? It's pi55ing me right off now!!!:mad: :mad: :mad: Ivan

Does anyone do a chrome skull 'knob with eyes that light up to fit a zed?:confused: I'm thinking of wiring one into a shift light so when you reach the rev limit the eyes flash like in a film i once saw. Ivan:D
