Yeah,cut some steel and weld it in.Cheaper than a repair piece if your on a budget.Alternativley,try filling it with wire wool and bodyfiller,like what i found in a Transit campervan sill i was getting ready to respray recently lol(even the wire wool was rotten!)

I have AVG anti virus installed and zone alarm,but since siginging up to YouTube,I have got a trojan.I keep getting pop ups telling me I have mutiple infected watever,Trojan horse etc,It says its AVG,but AVG isnt picking it up.I installed 'malaware' to scan and it found stuff,removed it but this is still here,poping up every few seconds,also I try searching on google etc,it goes to other search pages/sites instead of the page I wanted.Anyone got any ideas before i reformat.Its sooooo annoying

Are you sure a gasket has blown?And that it just didnt overhead for another reason?Two simple quick checks is ,check the oil,if its a bad leak,it will let water from the wanter jackets into the bore or oil way,this shows up as the oil looking from a blackish grey to brown,but this may take a little while to show.Second is with the engine running for a few mins to warm up,check the rad for water bubbling alot,this is a sign that the gasket is leaking near a bore and its pushing the compression into the water ways.

Yeah,I had the same recently from gumtree as well,selling a clio,guy didnt ask about the car,only payment details.I just wrote back saying it was sold.You can spot these scammers usually from gumtree ,ebay fridayads etc.

mark the flanges on the prop to diff end and open these bolts,check for play in the pinion bearing that way.Not sure if the bearing will pull out if you open the centre nut on the flange,getting that open might be a ball ache without an impact gun.

Black is my favourite colour on zeds cos it diguises the rear quarterlight which i think looks naff.Dark metallic grey looks nice too.

my toyota hi-lux is not that great in the white stuff either,plenty groundclearance,but abit light on the rear makes her spin the tyres in 2wd.We got the snow really early this year ,after lastyear aswell,people will probably start buying winter tyres in anticipation for next winter and itll prob be our warmest yet!lol,sods law:)

Im not,rearwheel drive in a hilly place equals frustrated front wheel drivers stuck behind me if i take it out.haha!But twice this week I was driving along around 30-40mph when both occasions a car pulled out of their driveway in front of me making lock up and sh*t myself thinking im gonna rear end them,and then making me crawl along behind them at a ridiculous slow speed,and when theres slush in the middle of the lanes its a bit hairy trying to overtake!At least wait till the car coming passes you before you pull out and crawl with your white knuckles and rigid hunch over the steeringwheel.I really think new drivers should be put on a skid pan to learn driving in snow and ice.In Norway etc they drive on snow same as us in the rain,no big deal to them cos theyre so used to it! (o.k rant over!..Im just p*ssed off with this snow cos my new massive plasma telly is taking forever to be delivered! lol)

The bumper looks bad off the car when i saw the first pic, but on the car,to me it actually looks good.Im my opinion,theres way too many ugly kitted Zeds in the world.More ugly zx's than good looking ones,there again,one persons ugly is anothers beauty.But some folks have zero style or taste and dont help with the cars image!lol.I think that one looks alright!!

What work,what money,what the f*ck???a strip of tape over a hole?LOL.My whole point is,regardless what 100 mot testers say or do,there are many testers that will fail a car or add it as an advisory over something like that (ok,its not in the book,we KNOW this,,right or wrong,but they DO fail)I said in the first place,if your worried it might fail,tape it up.For the sake of a few mins taping something,if you have an arsey tester that fails it(rightly or wrongly!!!),most people wont bother asking for an appeal form and demanding a re-test.What a tester calls damages might be a missing part to another tester.Im not argueing.I know the book.
