De-Cats Yes or No?
If the seals go when de-cated then they required replacing anyway. De-cating removes a small percentage of backpressure. 99% of TTs never have problems after removing the cats. Only you know the condition of your car, so at the end of the day its your call

whats the best zorst manifold to get.
Thanks for that John Do you know if Leon ever built a Z manifold. I was over there about 1 1/2 ago and he was thinking of it. Would be nice to get some decent units on the market. I do however expect the prototype to be very expensive due to the extensive labour cost. If Leon were interested, I could drop a set of Stillen units off with him to use as a template. Thanks Dave

whats the best zorst manifold to get.
If you get a decent equal lenght manifol then this will eliminate the need for backpressure

whats the best zorst manifold to get.
Stillen headers are for the US market only, they will not fit Jap or Euro spec Z's. All the headers on eBay are also US only. Unless you can get someone to modify the unit then it will foul on your steering rack. The only headers that fit the N/A are Jap units. I have spent around 6 months trying to track them down. I have a contact in a Jap exhaust manufacture who has offered to build some but at a very high cost. If you manage to find some then please let me know

Extreme Tuning
On a more serious note, your best looking through previous threads as most of the answers to your questions can be found there. People who undergo big power upgrades generaly also undergo extensive research, this way you also learn as you go. If you get no joy here then try the Yank or Aussie sites. Good luck matey in your quest for perfection "you might bump into Ian on your travels" :D

Apexi S-AFC
John The engine was running sweet before hand. Fitted was an S-AFC and an A-VCR, both these units have been fitted correctly but have not been programmed. When boosting @ and above 1 bar, det occurs. My thoughts were that the SAFC was controlling the A/F ratio thus was running lean. We expected rough running using the units defaults Can you place the units in bypass mode for diagnostic purposes? also do you have some settings to use with the AFC. Cheers Dave

Nismo 555 injectors Group Buy?
Its not so much the pressure its the volume of air which you should measure. Stock 370cc max out @ around 380-420 from what Ive be advised. If your running bigger turbo's then you will indeed require more fuel. A maxed out 370cc will never be as efficient or reliable as a 555cc running @ only 60-70% duty cycle. Running 555s on a stock engine/tubs will work a treat. The "uprated" ECU will control the amount of time the injector is open "duty cycle" and still inject the correct amount of fuel but with a lesser overhead. If the engines coming out then the injectors should be changed, it will make sense in the future

Apexi S-AFC
Right does anyone run one of these units, as one of our customers has fitted it and requires a basic setup to get here going. Her TT is pinking alot due to incorrect mixtures. If you have a document or can even relay the settings over the phone, both myself and this good little lady would be greatfull Thanks in advance

Rich The day is planned for power runs only, no tunning. As the location is the companies research & development site, they have asked me not to disclose the exact location until nearer the day.

clutch judder question
I have a very similar clutch with a lightened fly wheel. I get judder every time I pull away, I was warned about this prior to purchasing the kit. As my clutch is a heavy duty type also I have learnt to live with it as it never slips and performs well. Think after a while you get used to it and tend not to notice it as much, I did. PS..It also chatters when peddle is depressed
