Whats the top speed on your N/A??
153 @ 7.2k upto now We are currently undergoing alot of work on improving the performance of the stock N/A. When research is complete we are aiming to supply 2 upgrade paths. The first being mild at approx 260bhp and the second more involved method coming in @ around 300bhp. Our test car is in between these 2 at the moment. Our aim is to simply carry on were others have givin up, too many people say you can not upgrade the N/A within financial reason. We aim to prove otherwise. Both packages should be availabe once our research is complete, around May time, so hold on to your horses until then. Details to follow PS..Pete the stock badly designed plenum is good for >800 bhp in its present form, I dont think EH it would make any difference on a lower power N/A, or if it did it would be the most expensive BHP for your $ upgrade ever.

Common connection
With the above item U/S sounds like you could of upset an earth/return. Remove any newly installed kit and double check all the existing wiring esp were you spliced into it.

NA and TT differences.....
Hi bud welcome to the club. We have both, the NA and the TT "AND BOTH OF THEM WORK" If you get a good N/A there are a few mods you can do to it without going into great expense, we are currently experimenting with our one and have achieved excellent results. As the TT has had a few quid spent on it and tends to be temperamental, we only use it for shows or cruising round at weekends, the N/A though gets thrashed every day of its life. The TT has covered approx 3k miles in 4 years, at a cost of just over 15k in repairs and minor mods, The N/A has covered 12k Miles in the last 5 months and the only thing to brake was the alternator. Don’t read this wrong though, you can buy a TT and have very little problems with "until you decide to thrash it that little bit to often" With the N/A and its lack of tubs, you have no turbo lag and much greater low down torque, MPG is about the same "the way we drive it" cost of running is cheaper than running a Ford escort, your not to bothered if you wrap it up so you can have loads more fun trying. We have driven our N/A right through the winter in both snow and rain "you wont find a TT driver doing that" Yes TTs will always be a faster car, but if you want cheap fast reliable fun the N/A is the way forward. PS...Whatever you do buy a Manwell, autos are heavier and you loose more power through the drivetrain, if you can buy a 2 seater as they are much lighter and more fun to throw around. Good Luck and give us a shout when you get it, as we would of compiled our N/A performance bolt-on packages by then Regards Dave

Electrical questions
Think what greg means is to wire it to a +V from the light switch circut as apose to the ignition direct. Do the diags as Greg said but find a live which only goes high when the lights are switched on. Normaly inside the right hand cluster pod

Blue smoke
Cats will not hide the blue smoke "correct" Cats will however create a small amount of exhaust backpressure "enough to help the std oil seals to seal" If you remove your cats off an engine with stock tubs you are increasing the risk of oil leaks through the stock turbo oil seals. IMO once they start to leak thats it, you can replace your cats but will prob have the same problem. The decat process is a seperate process and can not be blamed for the oil seal failure, it just makes it more apparent. If this is the case then your tubs are/were on the way out, it may well be something else though. Try a compression test before you splash out on Unnecessarily. It sounds like its not your tubs at fault. Run it back over to Z-World or any other Z mechanic and ask them to check it over. ;)

Availability of Z32 Fairlady 2-seater TT hardtop manual
SWB Slicktops are by far more desirable, lighter, quicker but not as common as the 4 seaters. Hold out and you will find one iam sure. Have you ever considered a modded non turbo 2 seater slick?. I have one and its so much fun, only problem is its so damm strong and I cannot break it. Owning a TT for years I am not used to this. The N/As are slightly less rare but are much lighter than the TTs, just a thought

Exhaust tuning, the Ferrari Sound
I have a single on the TT, Sounds sweet but not like a ferrari I have a custom made twin on the N/A and it sounds out of this world, my tickover is set to approx 0.9K and it sounds like it doing about 2.0k. When you open the throttle it puts a big smile on your face. Dont forget the mongoose is a quiet exhaust I had one on the TT and got rid. A TT Zs engine is low compression compared to the average Ferrari.

Smoked rear light clusters
Smoked rear lights, dead easy. Just mix some black paint with lots of thinners. Spray the lights and leave to dry, keep doing this process untill you reach the disired pitch. The thinners slowly melts the plastic and allows the black paint to dig in (similar to a tatoo) looks real good when done.

Steering Wheel Hub
Yea Marcus, I have ordered some Momo boss kits, 6 hole pattern for the Z32. As these are very hard to get hold of they are on back order. Will let you know when they come in.
