I actually think the gloss black looks far better especially if you had the roof in gloss black too it looks newer and fresher, i think the grey looks old and faded

I dont bother trying to get the clips off i just get a skrewdriver under the cut out bit of the injector plug and gently pry the connector off

Yeah i know what you mean the other Boat i had was an ex racing boat which had over a 300hp jag engine in it with a Volvo penta outdrive and that fooker flew but was too big and heavy to get out the water, hence why i got the Driver and it was much more fun to be honest, the 2 stroke outboards are much better than an inboard 4 stroke, much quicker accellaration, even my little Driver with the 85 on the back would go airbourne :hyper: I so want another boat once ive moved

The Driver 440 is an excellent little boat about 14ft, and ideal for a first boat. I had 1 and used it on the Estuary all the time mine had 85hp Merc on the back which was proberbly a bit too powerful for it as it used to almost stand on its arse end when i opened it up and the prop dug in, but that might of been due to the pitch of the prop, they work best with a 50-75hp on the back. You really want one with power Tilt and Trim to get it up on the plane quicker and you can lift the engine when coming into shallow water.

nope its ideal for the Estuary the Phantom's and the Ring's are very similar and have excellent Hulls for planing

'A' cambelt? it only has 1, loosen timing cover enough so you can see the belt and turn engine over to see if its turning when the engine is cranked first

You say you got a Greddy boost controller fitted. what Chip and injectors have you got? You may be trying to run too much boost on the stock injectors and chip if these havent been upgraded? No point fitting a boost controller on stock chip unless its to over ride a faulty det senser. Just a thought as you dont mention any other mods. I think its to do with the boost controller

Thats what i was thinking, not the financing as i didnt think of that lol but a good idea for a club competition/annual event and a trophy for the best drifter

Dont it gut ya, i've had to sell both the power boats ive had for financial reasons, breaks your heart. Good luck with the sale Chris, i f it wasnt for the fact im buying a property i would be interested, i've been promising myself another boat too, everything comes at the wrong time. Try and hang on to it if you can, you'll regreat it, because its so hard to get back

It might be worth contacting him first to see if he can do a discount and how many they need to give a discount, so everyone knows how much it will be and then start getting a list up of interested partys
