its more than likely the bearings that have gone then they can be replaced by taking the third link arm off as they are pressed into that, the king pin is usually ok but can be checked when you take the link arm off as it will expose it. The king pin can be taken out and changed by undoing the bottom nut if you want to change it, or just get a good second hand link arm with good bearings in

is the movement at the upper end of the third link arm where it connects to the the upper link arm or at the bottom of the third link arm where it connects to the steering knuckle?

:confused: why did you take the bumper off and IC's out? you dont have to. Just take air filter off undo the top bolts of the oil cooler pull it forward then take aux fan out then you can get a socket with extension onto the rear bolt of the recirc valve. Or because you have bumper and bigger IC's?

The last and only 1 i can remember seeing flying was a very long time ago at the Southend airshow it was all white with a black nose cone and made a weird high pitch whine as it flew over

At southend airport you can as well, sometimes the big heavylift freight planes take off and land and thats a sight to see as the runway is quite short, you can also drive almost up to the Vulcan Bomber. I used to drive up to the flying club and watch all the millitery planes come in the day before the Southend Airshow thats good to watch them come in

Not fake it really is like that there i've seen it on TV the beach really is that close to the runway as its only an island, but it does have a sign warning beach goers of 'low flying aircraft and jet blasts can cause physical injury!' Big deal lol

can you see movement at the third link arm and king pin housing or lower king pin housing on the steering knuckle and hear a grinding noise when you turn the knuckle? If you can its proberbly the King pin bearing, which can be replaced. If no movement at the King pin housing then it could be the wheel bearing if everything is solid but you still have excessive play when you wobble the wheel

i see 1 neally every day too, they have a Vulcan at Southend Airport, right next to the Railway. No Licence to fly but it does runs up the runway, awesome noise

Take off and clean the ECU temp sender and connector first its the simplist area to start and usually solves the problem (yellow connector on metal water pipe that goes into the engine)
