  8. well it aint the coil packs checked all conections all on tight so decided to change the plugs still the same its more like a shaggy than a scooby. What else could it be, could 1 of the coils gone down? Getting really p'd off with these cars now nothing but trouble

  10. here we go again ffs! Car has now developed another fault, was running ok apart from having code 34 and possibly running safety boost so not had full power out of it. But tonight accelarated and the car started to feel rough as hell, first i thought it had a lump of rubber off a tyre or a flat, pulled over the car ticked over ok but felt and sounded like it wasnt running on all cylinders when i reved it up, drove off had reasanable accelaration and speed but sounds more like a v8 dosnt seem to be smoking either but smelt like rubber burning. any idears guys? thanks carl
  11. mine was working ok up untill i siezed a turbo had full boost prior to that, since having the engine out and other tubs put on ive only had safety boost, thats why i wondered if anything else could be wrong or affecting the sensor? If the object im looking at, at the top rear of the engine just below the inlet manifold is the right thing then it looks as though it can come out by removing manifold. I wonder if anyone has managed to do it? im not keen on bypassing it seems to much of a risk. Am thinking of having car chipped and boost controller fitted which would bypass the det sensor, but am wondering if a boost controller is fitted and the det sensor is working properly will the car still have the protection of safety boost if the engine was to start detonating?
  12. ive got it the dreaded code 34 hopefully this will explain the above symptems. Question is what would caurse the sensor to fail, or if its faulty signal to the ecu? had a good look around back of engine followed wire (white wire) down back of engine if im right it looks round with the white wire going into the back of it and the 2 bolts facing up? lol sorry about discription would having the engine out and couple turbos fitted cause this to fail or if something isnt connected right? The job to replace the sensor dosnt look to difficult apart from stripping off inlet manifold as far as i can see
  13. turned on comp today had email from zx-racing they have just refunded my £350 for the dump valves. Strange???? Something not right

  15. im not worried about a drink thanks for offer if i can help i will its a shame you cant keep the car and do it up in your leasure, if you break it u still gotta get ride of the shell but you might make your 2 grand. i just found out i might be in safety boost as boost only goes half way across gauge or clutch slippin but new clutch only get about 25-30mph out of it if i boot it in 1st gear then limiter comes in nothin but problems these cars
