  1. shall i ring them and ask if they will take £5950 cash? Or would that be taking the pi$$?!
  2. He probably thinks he is Nick cage and he has "boosted" it! No really it comes with pics and recipts I think he meant to put 16k not 6
  3. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1967-mustang-eleanor-PERFECT-CONDITION_W0QQitemZ270087560987QQihZ017QQcategoryZ18301QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I would give my right leg for one of these, 6k has to be a mistake?
  4. I missed it. And cant find the streaming full episodes on the bbc website any more? Darn, will have to wait for the torrent to come out tomorrow.
  5. i turned my limit down from 15.5 to 15 before i put this post up, would rather it cut the boost than blow the engine! just got to turn the duty rate down now
  6. ahh, yes i didnt turn the duty down as its selected by turning the knob only, forgot about that.
  7. not good when the controller cuts the boost tho as it feels like a missfire / major F*%kup better than going any higher tho
  8. Took my car to sheffield to work today. on the m1 on the way back i had a little play. with greddy pro spec 2 on hi, in 5th gear at 70mph foot flat to the floor boost hit 16psi before the controler cut it out at about 110mph WTF? I had it setup perfectly, could take it to the red line in 3rd and would reach about 14psi but in 5th it just keeps climbing I then set all the hi settings to the same as lo thinking i would get about 10psi like i do in low mode and it would sustain it but oh no it just keeps climbing, 16 again, just took longer to get there! i dont want that much boost!
  9. 16bit subsystem not working due to corrupt system files. There is a patch that replaces the bad files and will fix it. http://support.packardbell.com/it/item/index.php?m=download&i=6945970000;dosapps_sp2_patch.exe;0;ppn;PB17B00706
  10. that's the plan. I already blocked it at the balance bar with a bolt etc and it runs sweet. just wanted to be sure you can easily block it at the booster to rule out the vac pipes and bottles etc
  11. right. now my car is back on the road I need to sort out the clutch booster. I started the car after putting the rad etc back in and it is the same as before. idle is poor and vaccum low. I blocked the pipe that goes to the clutch booster at the balance bar end and the car runs fine with no more leak. I now want to connect this back up and block it at the booster end to confirm the fault with the booster rather than the hoses and vac bottles. I think I can see the vac hose going through the firewall to the booster just below the clutch master cylinder. can I just pull this off and block it to confirm the system is sealed and its the booster at fault? does that hose pull off
  12. :duffer: Pete I owe you one mate. Just got to connect the battery back up and bleed the air out the cooling system tomorrow morning and I might actually be able to drive it again!
  13. Fixed! Thanks to pete and his steady hand with the mig! Thanks Jimmer for the weld tip. shes all built back up now!
  14. Maybe your right andy, i already had to rethread the plenium for the balence bar.
  15. good idea. the bolts are m6 / 12mm tho
  16. No, its the right side stud for the bottom water pipe that houses the thermostat Pete has the one he removed from an old engine ready for me, but i'm thinking of changing them all 3 allen bolts hold the top water pipe on, one of those is an odd shorter one on mine. 1 allen bolt and 2 studs/nuts hold the lower water pipe on. I'm thinking of removing both the studs and getting 6 new stainless or titainium allen bolts
  17. As i said - i made a boo boo!
  18. Putting my car back together, going very well so far. Put my polished water pipes on today. tightening the last bolt on the lower water pipe that covers the stat. snapped the stud off about half way along! :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal Its now too short to bolt the water pipe on! I swore and threw a spanner at the shed! :wack: Already spoke to slick pete who has successfuly removed a stud from an old block by using two nuts against each other. Looking for some 12mm titainium allen bolts now to do all of them!
  19. That intake is way cool! I love the intake sticking out of the bonnet thing that the yanks do so well. It might take in more water than air in the UK tho!
  20. Anyone got one of there £150 front mount ics? Good cheap performace part or plain old chinese rubbish?
  21. been posted before!
